I am not a big Margarito fan, in fact, I like PBF. I am just saying that this fight makes more sense than people want to believe. And you don't think Margarito is ducked? He has been trying to fight the champions for some time, but has been unsuccessful.

Also, I agree with you that Margarito has something to prove to be considered a class fighter. I see him as a dangerous prospect right now that has yet to prove himself against an elite opponent. But at some time every champ was a contender.

Sure, I think I read somewhere that Quintana was definitely in the mix for his next fight. Although beating him wouldn't cement him as an elite fighter in my mind. It's like beating Cintron again. He needs to fight a title holder who is well respected to get respect.

won his title against antonio diaz who earlier lost to shane mosley then went on to defend against daniel perez who beat a guy who was 29-9 for his title shot then after the tony fight lost to brinkley off the contender

then fought 6heads lewis a decent fighter but had been beaten by Mayorga 2fights earlier and shud never have had a title shot

after lewis came Maurice Brantley who since losing to Tony has lost 6 straight

next comes Hercules Kyvelos who after losing to tony in a world title fight even though he never fought an eliminator to fight tony lost to cosme rivera in 4 rounds then took 18-10 Frank Houghtaling to a split decision

after that world class operator he fough daniel santos in a fight he lost on split decision after another cut in a fight i had santos up by 2

next comes sebastian jujan once again a fighter who beat no1 to get his title shot and has lost 2 in 4 since

FINALLY a good fighter comes along in unbeaten but untested prospect Cintron a flawless performance by margo sees him destroy him in 5
