he hasnt turned it down yet, he said he had a better offer, and it aint Cintron so quit trying to use boxrec to make Floyd the fraud. if floyd is going fight to margarito it will be in nov. promoted by Hbo the way it should be. Floyd da man, if u want a piece of the man, u got to accept his terms. So explain to me why Arum and margo is trying to get Floyd to chase them and subit to them and their terms. Top Rank aint on top!!!

I didn't say that he was fighting Cintron if you read what I said it was a rumor. If Floyd takes this fight and that is a BIG IF, than he will have my respect for stepping up.

Yeah Cort, plus why would Floyd want to fight without his trainer and his advisor (Leonard Ellerbe) while risking his contract with HBO. And people who dismiss boxing as a team sport should look at Mike Tyson's career as an example of what can happen when a fighter is without his team

Thats true, u right, thats huge. Cause as soon as Teddy Atlas and them were done with Tyson, he was finished mentally. Floyd is mentally stronger than Tyson and he could pull it off I think, but I bet he would uncomfortable without his uncle there.

jai mari 078 if u want to be mad, if u want to see the fights u want to see then be mad at Arum for not switching the dates with I think morales and Pac man. And by the way, u know what Arum excuse as to why he didnt want to swith dates because he said that Nov 18 was big Mexican holiday like margo aint Mexican or something. explain that.

Dude I am not mad, I am not even a huge Marg fan oof a Floyd hater, I am just a boxing fan that wants to see the best fights made and I do want to see Floys tested and if he takes this fight I will give him his props.

Spinks' best win is against either Judah (and he lost the rematch) or Karmazin. Margarito's best win is against Cintron. While I definitely think Judah/Karamzin has the better pedigree, styles make fights. PBF's closest fights were against JLC, a pressure fighter. Margarito is nowhere near JLC's level but they are the same type of fighter and Margarito has better KO power at 147. Spinks couldn't hurt Floyd and he is considered a boxer. Floyd is simply the best boxer in the business so this fight is moot.

he does have more knockout power but his shots are wide and slow, all got to say is straight right hand all night!!

Alright I can understand that, but dont make it seem like he is avoiding margarito because he lennox Lewis at 147. me personally I dont think this would be or should be a PPV fight or as close as some would like to think. U want to see Floyd tested but honestly can KO power alone beat a great boxer? Castillo is a pressure fighter, but he also has good head movement, nice jab, nice lateral movement, and also very tricky with some of those sneaky punches. For goodness sake he is on alot peoples LB 4 lB list. Only thing that is similar between castillo and margarito is that they are Mexican and throw alot of punches.

I will agree that Margarito does not have all the skills that Castillo has, but he is a lot bigger than Castillo, and is a bigger puncher with both hands. I think that his size and pressure could give Floyd trouble. If he crowds him and doesn't just let him stand outside and box. If he catches Floyd, I think he could be in trouble. I'm not saying Floyd couldn't win, I just think it would be an interesting fight. If he can't get a fight with any of the other top guys, and doesn't make more money somewhere else and still doesn't take this fight than I think it will be pretty apparent that he doesn't want this fight. We will have to wait and see and I hope he makes this happen.
