FINALLY a good fighter comes along in unbeaten but untested prospect Cintron a flawless performance by margo sees him destroy him in 5

instead of building on that he decides to fight manule gomez 28-10 with 2draws in his previous 4fights with one of his victories beating a guy with a 18-9 record wow

so there thats world beater tony margarito's championship reign wow almsot takes my breath away

They look at Margarito's performance against C-B class fighters, and think he will kayo Floyd.

I don't think Margarito can beat PBF, but he is a deserving champion. A fighter like Margarito is like Winky Wright in that until he is a linear champion, people don't want to fight him. Too much risk, not enough reward. If PBF beats him... he gains nothing because people will claim that Margarito was overrated/untested. If he doesn't fight him then he is labeled a fraud. Easy answer... fight him and then fight someone of note

I understand that, but what does Margarito gain by fighting them? He wants name recognition and/or more belts. That is the only way he will get the big $ fights.

I hear you, but if you're AM you are tired of "paying your dues" when you've had 6 successful title defenses. Most champs are established after 6 defenses
