You seem to be misinterpreting what PBF fans believe and what. They make justifications, rational, and reasons (that are actually valid) as to why he wont/cant fight, but that doesn't mean they don't want it.

PBF fans become defensive of the Margarito fight not because they don't want the fight, but beause PBF is being called a coward and ducking Margarito. There's 2 sides to each story and in the Margo/PBF fight you're only hearing Margo and Arum's side, which doesn't mean **** on the grand scheme of things.

PBF is the best boxer there is today, thus him fighting anybody (within reason) is simply another step in the road. Most believe he'd beat Margarito, Hatton, Cintron, etc. They'd love to see these fights, I know I would, but it's a matter of defending Floyd when he can't/wont.

I am a boxing fan, but I am a realist. And I want this fight because it is an interesting clash of styles, and it seems like a pick'em fight. It would also answer alot of questions about legacy.

So, what do you make of Floyd buying out his contract with Arum and becoming a free agent? Bottom line, he's his own promoter now and he hasn't made ANY offers.

If you want to say he's the guy to beat, that's another story... but he's got no more claim to being the welterweight champ than Baldomir does, if not less than Baldomir.

Funny **** Dirty,Margarito last loss at 147 which is what we are talking about,was 10 years ago and has succesfully defended his title.If thats not paying your dues then I dont know what type of scenario it would be.

I'm curios to see what he's going to do. If Arum truly wanted the fight he'd take Floyd's offer and do the fight for 8 million when Floyd all ready has a contract with HBO. I believe Arum is ducking more so than Mayweather. Everybody and their mother wants a shot at Mayweather sooner or later. His idea of offers seems to be to wait and get them from everybody else since nothing can happen in the lower weight classes without his name being brought up.
