Yeah I know. Mikey got his more seasoned, experienced and developed ass dominated last night by a greener and less skilled fighter and they don't how to handle it but to make up excuses.

Also, without so much as mentioning or taking into account that Mikey was undefeated, four divisional champion and the best fighter that Erroll has ever faced. Moreover, the mere fact that Garcia has never been stopped before in his entire career.

Not once have these bitter and jealous no good bastards ever congratulated Spence on his victory last night. All they've done since the fight was over is make excuses, criticize and nitpick Errol Spence's. Jr's performance which was a superb one.

      Not really.

      Spence won the tactical battle.
Out boxed, outlanded garcia. Fought his fight. Fought in the center of the ring, kept off the ropes, varied his attack, didnt rush or crowd himself except maybe in the final rounds.

The only area Garcia did well was protecting himself when Spence went for the stoppage in the late rounds. Garcia covered up well and blocked a lot of spences shots. Maybe spence could have slowed down and tried to open up Garcia for a perfect counter, but spence isnt really that boxing type.

Garcia was supposedly the more skilled, better boxer and Spence basically shut him out on the cards, won every round.

Thats bollox, the superior boxer lost every single round and was thoroughly outboxed. The skill gap that mikey and his fans were expecting just wasnt there. Mikey would have atleast had some success in the early rounds if he had a large skill gap over spence. You can over come reach and height advantages with skills. The problem is that Garcia doesnt have much if any skill advantages over spence and he has nothing else particularly special about him, no speed advantage for being the smaller fighter and no power to speak of. He only did ONE thing well in this entire fight and that was cover himself up when Spence looked for the KO in the last 3-4 rounds.

You’re being a hater. Spence won every round. While Garcia covered up and was happy not to get knocked out.

Spence did fine but you knew from the outset he was going to get criticized if he did anything but dominate.
He did dominate though... Judges had him winning every round and most people gave Garcia one round at most.

I expected it and said it before the fight it's hard for me to find what Garcia does better than Spence. People don't see Spence skills aren't watching him. He's also faster and better feet. Just didn't see how Spence would lose this fight.

Everyone knew Spence would win. IDK why some people act like that was anything other than a foregone conclusion. He really should have been able to finish him though. There are actuality some things Garcia is better at than Spence but they will never matter when they are so far apart in size. It's like Loma and Rigo, two guys can be equally fast, defensively sharp, etc, but they stop mastering when the size difference is that great.

I just see Spence can do everything Mikey can do and is just vastly more athletic. Size is a huge factor though but add with better athleticism and power it's hard to overcome. I'm not gonna complain about not getting the ko though... I thought he would but he did dominate the fight.

Not everyone thought it was a forgone conclusion. About a third of the forums was making threads on how Mikey was going to win. Not sure if it was blind nationalism or hate on black boxers but I just thought it was nuts people thought Mikey was going to win.

You were a sucker for believing that even 2% of these people thought Mikey was going to win. I'm not trying to be rude but haven't you noticed this place is troll city? People say nonsense like that because they love to argue on here.

Regarding Spence's athleticism, it lets him get away with a lot of mistakes. Particularly defensive mistakes, sometimes footwork mistakes, because he can eat anyone's punches and just plow forward with his own tremendous power. I used to point this out and Brook illustrated a lot of this in the early rounds of their fight. But, Spence is always able to use his power and athleticism to overcome. Mikey is smarter, sets traps well, uses footwork slightly more effectively (which is why Spence had a hard time trying to finish him). But, Mikey doesn't belong at that weight and was punished for trying such a foolish move.

And, I'm not taking anything away from Spence BTW. I think the guy is fantastic and I like him a lot. I've no problem with him at all.

After about the second round, Garcia just fought to survive. Those are the hardest guys to knock out. Garcia was not in there to win the fight.
