tbh Spence looked like a fighter who wasn't threatened at all.

We saw his best when he was pushed vs Kell Brook, was facing a bit of an issue in the mid rounds then came back and dominated. Because he HAD TO.

Vs Mikey he was in great shape, but didn't really have to step out of 1st or 2nd gear, and didn't.

I don't think it means much. He's a top fighter, everyone knows it.

That’s not true. Every time Mikey attempted Spence was on the back move (defensively sound). Spence has Good pounce back ability, very well conditioned. How many times did we see Mikey try and leap forward to setup a shot while Spence reciprocated on the back move. Therefore Mikey was attempting to take risks but he couldn’t setup anything. This is why it was always a stalemate to Mikey. He couldn’t adjust, he tried everything.

In the end Spence is just too rangy for Mikey. It is what it is. The only way Mikey would ever have a chance with Spence is a catchweight. Spence wouldn’t perform well at a 144lbs imo. He’s have to sacrifice some muscle in camp or try another 3 lbs of water which could hurt him badly on fight night. In general people have severe headaches because they are deprived just 12oz of water

Mikey risked nothing and shelled up more and more tightly throwing less and less as the fight went on...even when he had his chances. From around the 4th on you could see he had given up and was trying to finish without getting hurt or KO'd...that was his only accomplishment (well that and the 8-9 million$). So given the huge size advantage...that Spence could not hurt or KO'd the smaller guy made him look bad but Mikey defense is very good so he could avoid most of the danger...but of course you don't win rounds that way and it looks/looked bad all around.

All in all...a terrible fight and I'm glad I didn't buy it. Actually...the whole card was just a series of terrible mis-matches.

Spence just showed he's not just a KO artist or a power puncher. He proved that he can box.

Ffs , you could look great in their against that
Spence had one thing to worry about , their fughin feet getting tangled up

That is the funny thing tho, eh? Spence isn't that great either but he didn't want to hurt Mikey or make him look bad. I think Spence realized within a minute or two he was fighting a man-baby who had gotten lost and wandered into the wrong ring..

              What was Mikey thinking??

Everybody baffled that spence couldn't get mikey outta there, I think you are all simply underestimating Mikey's toughness.

Little guy proved his heart is as big as his huevos, doesn't tarnish Spence in the slightest.

Funny how he calls out 40 year old Pacquiao and doesn't even mention Crawford after the fight. Spence knows full well Crawford would humiliate him and make him look ******.
This is an utterly ******ed post that highlights the problems with NSB.

You’re upset Spence didn’t ko Mikey but he did beat him 12-0. Then you’re mad that he called out the most lucrative fight he can rather than call out a guy whose promoter has said will not make the fight until it’s a big fight.

You’re just a miserable dude looking for something to complain about.

I was more disappointed in Mikey than impressed with Spence to be honest.
