Style makes fights and I am thinking Charlo might have a problem landing on Mikey Garcia cause Charlo's footwork is not good. So just cause certain fighter spars with certain fighter wearing headgear and big gloves doesn't tell the whole story. There is footage of Mikey Garcia busting up Maidana and Maidana fought a pretty good 1st fight against Floyd Mayweather.
