Do u realize that Africa is the richest continent on the planet, and simultaneously have the poorest people living on it ?
Do u realize that’s only because of white supremest political politics that have actually stated that not so much as pencil ever read “made in Africa”
AFRICA can’t sell its raw materials on the world markets due to racist European/WEstern political policy. Hence the bad shape Africa’s in dealing with these Europeans.

You're right that "trade and diplomacy" was always more ideal...but especially for Europeans. Slave raids were dangerous. If they could use coercion instead, that was the much safer route.
The problem is that African Americans and the rest of the world never focused on African history. Africa has far too many ethnic groups spanning millennia of power but we don’t know about it selectively.
The reality is that if he black race really wanted power, all of the black millionaire and billionaire philanthropists of the world would size Africa and reform it.
Like I said, Greed supersedes everything. Even blacks in America complain that their own people don’t help each other. Instead vicimhood is easier.

Do U really think the Europeans, whether French, British or Anglo, would allow some wealthy Blacks to go into Africa and usurp their control ?
Do u realize that most African nations r still paying their European colonists rent ?Last edited by SugarRaRobinson; 03-10-2019, 03:28 AM.

Re
I'm not gonna speculate on what she was possibly being treated for...or why lethal force was used, even though she had a knife...a baton strike, and she suffers a broken wrist...
But uh, what a tragic life for Caleb Plant...

But that greed supersedes everything should not be seen as an African thing (not saying that you're saying that specifically). Greed seems unfortunately to be a part of human nature.
The African tribes all had their own unique iden******, beliefs, customs, etc. They sometimes warred with each other. To expect that they would put that all aside and work together to fight against gun toting Europeans is simply not realistic, the same way it wasn't realistic for Spain, France, and England to put aside their differences when they were all fighting over Saint Domingue and try to share in the profits.
I would think that they were not thinking about preserving their race, but preserving their tribe and way of living.
There was never a "Blacks seize power" movement on a global scale, nor a "Whites seize power" movement on a global scale (well, besides maybe what Hitler was trying to do, but obviously Whites fought against him). Everyone was out for their own interest. My only point was that African tribes were placed in a very precarious situation where non-compliance would have meant being wiped out. Though greed may have factored in, the bottom line is non-compliance could have meant utter doom. And even in the face of that, some did indeed fight against it, like Queen Nzinga who fought against the Portuguese slave traders.Last edited by travestyny; 03-10-2019, 03:26 AM.
