Hardcore fans are fairly aware that Canelo lost to both Lara and GGG, but it's almost like barely anybody gives Cotto just due for outboxing Canelo. Every time I mention it, crickets. I still don't get how anyone justifies Cotto outlanding Canelo so much and blocking/avoiding countershots, and somehow still think Canelo won. The only argument I've heard is that the few shots Canelo would land every now and then counted for like 20 Cotto shots LOL.

Cotto won that fight, man. The boxing world just didn't want to see Cotto win, and they ran with the favorite. Even the Mexican telecast had Cotto winning.
    Hardcore fans or haters?

No, only Lamazon had Cotto winnig

All the other people and Former champions had Canelo winning

And no way in hell, Lara and GGG were competitive fights, nothing clear to neither fighter

Canelo beat Cotto the same way diehard Kovalev fans say the Russian “carried” BHop because it went 12.

A lot of folks that build that up for Canelo completely criticized Pacquaio's Cotto performance because it was at a CW one whole pound lower than Cotto's previous fight and I think Cotto was far better in 2009 as a welterweight in his 20's rather than as a washed up middleweight in his 30's also at catch weight. I also think Pacquaio's win was far more dominant and impressive.
so you gonna relay on Marquez and beristain the 2 biggest canelo haters in Mexico
It is well documented that jmm is jealous and envious of canelo...as well as nacho

to those saying cotto beat canelo, get your eyes checked. that or get over cottos loss, its been years cotto stans.

and the austin trout fight was competitive. but at the end of the day, trout didnt do enough to beat canelo on pts after getting dropped like a ton of bricks. it was close but the harder shots (and cleaner ones) belonged to canelo. that was a close canelo victory.

however, Lara clearly outboxed him. i didnt even think that fight was close. canelo literally landed a few body shots and thats it over the span of 12 rds. i watched that fight in the movie theater and the theater was dead quiet with canelo fans who were anticpating a lara decision. that was a complete horse**** robbery and unfortunate for Lara who waited his whole life for a shot like that.

and then finally, it goes without saying GGG beat him twice. the first fight was clear as a sunny day. the second was a close, but still obvious win for G. canelo is the new danny "gift" garcia. disgusting PED cheat that gets gift after gift. if Karma exists danny jacobs will starch his ass

Arguably lost to Trout, clearly lost to Mayweather, clearly lost to Lara, clearly lost to GGG (first meeting), arguably lost to GGG (second meeting). Most fighters pick up one or two gift decisions over the course of their careers but Clenelo has had one too many dubious nods at this point and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he picks up a few more controversial wins before he's finished. In the end it will do more damage to his legacy than good as his legacy will always be tainted by the fact that he's benefited more from questionable judging and corrupt officials than any other boxer in living memory (and he isn't even finished yet.) The way Canelo's going I wouldn't be surprised if in the future when the fix is in it's refered to as 'pulling a Canelo'.
