Mayweather
Lara
Coto
GGG
GGG

He gets this IMO cos Nelo brings money to the sport, judges, venue, cities, promoters, etc
so its in the judges best interest to favour nelo in fights

and im sure GB give their helping hand

Lost to Floyd, Lara and GGG1. Barely beat Trout and Beat Cotto comfortably cause he was like 180 vs 160 for Cotto.

I remember hearing Nacho Beristain had Cotto winning too and Marquez had it a draw. I'd have to watch it again but it was a boring fight. Either way he wasn't as dominant as he should have been. A lot of folks that build that up for Canelo completely criticized Pacquaio's Cotto performance because it was at a CW one whole pound lower than Cotto's previous fight and I think Cotto was far better in 2009 as a welterweight in his 20's rather than as a washed up middleweight in his 30's also at catch weight. I also think Pacquaio's win was far more dominant and impressive.

You need to know/remember that both Nacho and Marquez hate Canelo with a passion so anything they say about Canelo you need to take it with a grain of salt... Just stating facts!

Just Floyd and GGG 1.

Lara fight was too close to call. If Lara didn't run as much, he would have and should have won. I felt the second GGG was very close too and I thought GGG beat him, but I have no problem with Canelo winning a close decision.

Trout and Cotto were clear wins for Canelo. Just because Canelo didn't look as impressive in those wins doesn't mean he didn't beat them clearly. I'm a big Cotto fan, but he looked old and small in that fight.

lol you sure they were Cotto fans? Pretty sure the crowd was pro-Canelo. Either way, seeing the fight from whatever distance you were at with a buncha people jumping up all over the place whenever Canelo even throws a shot may not be the best view for judging.

Ignoring the commentary and crowd, a vid of the fight itself is the best we get to being able to judge it clean. Unless you were literally ringside.

I see Cotto outboxing Canelo, and only getting hit every now and then. The crowd may go nuts every time Canelo throws, but Cotto ain't getting hit a lot of the time.

The argument I've heard since the fight has been that 1 Canelo shot literally counts for a ton of Cotto shots, because Canelo was so much heavier.

I don't buy that. Canelo was huge, yeah, but it's not like Cotto was being wobbled every time Canelo landed or something. Those 1 shots may look big, but Cotto just kept boxing Canelo's ears off.
