And This Is Why Fury Ducked

That's a good point. I've only been out cold once but that was from a chokehold, and it took a minute to figure out where I was again. I've been hit real hard and seeing stars, concussed or whatever, but never out cold. When you put it like that, then yeah, it makes sense that Fury must not have been properly 'out' but only dazed, at most. If it's properly 'lights out', it makes sense that there's no way you're gonna beat the count
I retract what I said before, of having seen fighters 'out cold' beat the count. They can't have been out cold, if what you're saying is right. I have seen fighters fall like a sack of shit, and then seemingly 'come to'... but I suppose, like you're saying, they weren't out "completely cold"
Yup think Pacquiao vs Marquez, Hatton vs Pacquiao or Stevens vs Lemieux. Those are 3 examples of out cold. Going down heavy is just that. You can go down heavy but still be aware of what is going on around you. It probably took an hour for the examples above to truly realize what happened to them.Comment

Put some Respek on my name!Thread starter is an idiot. A ko is when a fighter cant get up before 10 seconds. Just cause other refs would have waved it off doesnt make it the right call. The ref counted till 10 and fury made the count and proceeded to rock wilder a few times after. I've been out like a light switch before from a seizure and trust me when u wake up you're not yourself and it takes a couple minutes to get your head clear. Theres no way you could continue fighting like that. If fury was out he would have gotten dropped andkod right after.
Just cuz dudes knocking you out all over the place and giving you seizures don't mean you an expert in being out cold playa
He was out cold!Comment

Fury fans have no idea how KOs work.
You can be KOed and wake up from it eventually.
Otherwise, every boxer that got knocked out cold like that would be dead.
A beating isn't getting clocked by two huge left hooks and then noticing your opponent is gassed from all the celebrating and landing a good 2 shots on him.

It's funny but refine it a bit more, you are slightly too obvious and lacking a touch of creativity.Fury fans have no idea how KOs work.

That wasn't out cold, Holmes was moving immediately, but he was so dazed he slooowly got up.Nah, not having this. Go back and watch Holmes Vs Shavers 1.
It's a mistake to say any other ref would have stopped it in the last round of a title fight which Fury was winning; many a ref would have issued a count, if only as a formality.
Either you agree with "British" stoppages or you don't; you can't spend your life complaining about them and then demand one when it suits Wilder.
Wilder landed his money punch and the man got up. Twice.
Each time he got up and gave Wilder fits. If he'd been knocked half dead how does that happen? Why couldn't the most "dangerous puncher in heavyweight history" finish him off? It's not as if Fury was hanging on for dear life is it?
Having soundly outboxed Wilder as well as weathering his hardest punches, it makes no sense for Fury to be afraid of him. Arum is doing what Arum does as a promoter, rightly or wrongly.
Personally, that fight should've been stopped, too, because he was out of it, but that is nowhere near the same situation as a guy literally almost dead in the ring showing no movement whatsoever with eyes eyes blank.
Ya'll reaching.Comment

That was a knockdown with a seizure. of course it would be stopped. You tell me if that dude would get up on steady legs within 10 seconds? He might attempt to, but would not be able to stand up. Learn the difference between TKO and a true knockout. I have been knocked out, by a car accident many years ago. It took hours to realize who I even was. Those hours in between are completely lost from my memory forever. I was also stunned by a 44 foot fall to the pavement 25 years ago. I was not completely out, and trust me, the pain of 22 fractures I remember vividly. I remember every second of free falling and landing, along with thinking I was going to die 5 seconds after I landed.Comment
