I see what you mean, but gatti made it way easier for himself in the rematches because he used his legs instead of planting his feet like in the first fight. As for the comment,it's all good. Green k brother.Comment

The consensus of opinion of reasonable boxing observers is to laud the ref for doing a great job.
The evidence we have in front of us is that it was the right decision. Your comment is pure conjecture. If we go down a road of "could've done..." then at any point in any fight you would be suggesting that a ref should step in. The cumulative damage that Stiverne took against Joyce, for example, warrants a stoppage more than observing a one or two punch sequence and calling a halt.
You are also aware that you sound like you are clutching at straws. Wilder has been exposed, he's really not a very good fighter. He's a one trick pony and even that one trick has been exaggerated.Comment

A lot of people agree that fight would've been waved off under any other ref. If you believe a great job is letting a man who just got knocked out cold fight on, risking severe brain damage, then I don't know what to tell you. I find it completely irresponsible, and the only reason some are okay with it is because Fury didn't end up exactly like Adonis Stevenson. Had it been the other way around, no one would be taking the ref's side publicly. He not only circumvented standard boxing procedure, but he also put Fury's life at extreme risk. The consensus of opinion of reasonable boxing observers is to laud the ref for doing a great job.

Even Fury knows Wilder's too dangerous to be in the ring with, as is obvious now. Never mind right a near-death experience.Comment

Excellent post. Green K.Probably you can't remember the last time you earned a paycheck. But in the real world, people are concerned about being properly compensated for their efforts. A shocker for you, I am sure it is, but things don't come free. they gotta be earned. Yes, you've been blessed to benefit from the hardwork of others. But for most of us, and in most other countries, it's not all about handouts.
Fury embarassed wilder. He won 10 out of 12 rounds. (to help you with the math, that means Wilder only won 2). But in the rematch he's only getting a 40% cut!?!?!? The guy who LOST is getting paid better!?!?!? The guy who got robbed is expected to return to the country where the injustice happenend!?!?!?
Again, why any of this matters to anyone is lost on you. But for the rest of us who work in return for fair compensation, it's the perfect move by Fury.
If you had any self-respect, you'd actually be able to respect him more.Comment

LOL this right here just shows how "Fair and Balanced" your judging must have been. A guy literally almost dies in a round, and you somehow judge it 10-9 just because Wilder stopped hitting him at the end after being gassed from all the celebrating, and Fury landed a couple hard countershots.
Really?
I'm surprised you don't have it a complete shutout, then...
