Why couldn't Wilder finish Fury?

That's a good point to be fair.
You'd expect Wilder to finish him there. Maybe he's not as good as finisher as people thought.
Because I was one of those people that thought if that was Wilder he'd have finished AJ.
But then again Fury is so much more elusive than AJ and anyone else in general.
A lot of variables.
You'd have to think if Wilder dropped AJ like that he'd likely finish him.
Same way if AJ had Wilder hurt like Ortiz did, he'd finish him.Comment

Wilder is not a calculated finisher. He swings Wilder and in the process was caught with a right hand where he then had to watch out and was being out boxed.
Klitchko hit Joshua with a sneaky lead right , right on the temple , Wilder didn't hit Fury flush he was leaning over and clipped him.where Fury didn't see the punch, the left hook was actually the punch going down that caused the damage which I don't believe was harder then the Klitchko right hand which had full force behind it .
Klitchko also tried finishing off Joshua he was missing , if Wilder ran in like he did with Fury , Joshua would eat him alive with such Wild shots of he was aware like Fury was.
And can someone tell me how a guy knocked out had his eyes open while talking to the ref as he beats the 10 count ?

He's not a good finisher at all, he normally just spazzes out and starts windmilling so much he falls off his feet. That's a good point to be fair.

Refs see him land one windmill out of 20 and wave it off.Comment

You're right, he's not a great finisher. He doesn't stay composed, still ends things because of his speed and power but doesn't pick his shots as well as Wlad. Comparing their entire careers though Wilder has shown more killer instinct than Wlad, less hesistation once he smells blood, he just wasn't skilled enough to land on Fury again.Comment

It's because he received a sign from God that taking that fight was wrong. It could have cost him his life. Actually Fury did thought he had died in that ring. It was a life changing experience for him that put the fear of God in him. Wilder nearly decapitated him. Now to this day, he wants no part of Deontay Wilder ever. Not now, not in the present nor in the future. He has never been hit that hard before in his life and now he feels that the Lord has given him a second chance. Wilder has Samson like, game changing punching power. Moreover, Fury reflected that he thought he had sustained some kind of lasting injury or permanent brain damage from that head shot he absorbed from Deontay Wilder in that 12th round.Wilder and his lunatic fans have said for about two years now, that if Wilder was the one who'd dropped AJ like Klitschko did, he'd have finished him off. He wouldn't have let him go etc.
But Wilder dropped Fury twice, last time much much harder than AJ got dropped and couldn't finish Fury TWICE, nor did he really put it on him except for a few swingers immediately after the second KD.
Pretty much exactly like Klitschko in that sixth round, except Klitschko actually threw more punches after his KD than Wilder.
