  • That's one thing SLW does, he just bull****s. Lukahnli asked him one time to cite something he said because it was clear he was talking out his ass, and instead he ran off the net. A college student in a dorm going to bed at 9pm. LOL.

First of all, you pulling numbers out of your ass has nothing to do with me.

Williams vs Klitschko was reported to have grossed 120 000 PPV buys. Later, several articles came out alegging HBO fudged the numbers, and that it did as few as 75K.

Don't get angry with me because you pulled a number out of your ass and got corrected.

If it did, this lame ass response is even ****tier.

Mayweather vs Gatti PPV buys = 340 000

Juda vs Mayweather PPV buys = 350 000

        • I thought so... so much for Mayweather needing Gatti, lol.

Where are you SLW? Running again?

          • No one is angry with you. Anyone can make a simple mistake. Don't get all happy because you've scored some huge e-victory in your mind.

The fact still remains that Mayweather does not put asses in seats, period. He can sell quasi-respectable numbers WITH Judah or WITH Gatti. In the ARENA, Floyd's fights have been undersold many times. He is a p4p star, but he is not a star that lures in casual fans like DLH does (who easily makes 800,000 ppv buys and sells out arenas).

Anyone who thinks 300,000 ppvs is a big deal is kidding themselves. That's an OK number, nothing special.

            • Most of the money is made from PPV sales, not people in the arena.

              No point. ***shakes head***

              • And mind you thats 350 000 buys when Zab was coming off a huge loss to Baldomir... think of how much more it would've been if Judah had beat Baldy.

The fact that he is putting more people in the seats then Roy Jones did in his prime is quite shocking to me.
The fact that he fought a guy like Mitchell and still made 300,000 buys is incredible.

And no one is trying to compare him to DLH, because Oscar is the biggest name in boxing.
We are just proving that he is consistantly putting people in the seats and selling big numbers. (for todays market)

If promoted correctly, it could have gotten close to 500,000 imo.
