And you didn't read he's fighting Cintron anywhere reputable. The only place it was mentioned was in error on Boxrec, and in forums. It was complete and utter BS.
I know it doesnt really matter, becase Boxrec is **** anyways, but they took it off their website.

    • Oh, and by the way guys, excellent job proving Mech totally wrong.
I get along with the guy mostly, but he is a Floyd hater.
      Hats off.

Yes I know, they took it off the same day they put it up. In total it was up for about 16 hours I'd say.

        • There is nothing 'consistent' about it. Roy had fights that sold much better than anything Floyd has done so far. Roy and Floyd have fought in the same arenas, and when that has happened Roy's fight sold MUCH more as noted by HBO's team. You can't call anything Floyd does consistent when he has only had two PPV fights. That's not even enough to gauge his rep.

Mayweather-Mitchell was not a PPV. Not sure what you meant there.

You guys absolutely were trying to make it out as if Floyd is some kind of big market guy who can sell PPVS left and right. He sold PPVS because of WHO he was fighting as much as because he was in the fight, and at that it was still just an average number of buys.

This all goes back to fighting Margarito, which is the topic you all seemed to have forgotten. Someone made the claim that Floyd puts asses in seats as if that excuses him from fighting Margarito. Arum already offered to give this man who supposedly (but only does so in a mediocre fashion) puts 'asses in seats' $8 million. There is no reason for a delay in this bout. Shane= said no. DLH= put til May. Cotto & Hatton= said no.

            Easy as pie.

When all someone has is misinformed ignorance, it's not too hard to easilly dispel it.

            • If promoted correctly, it could have gotten close to 500,000 imo.
Some of the best promoters in the biz were involved in that fight. It did as much as it could do.

Now if it HAD made 500,000 buys, then we could say Floyd is a 'good' seller. As of now he is average.

No, people pointed out that Margarito isn't a PPV you draw and you tried to say Floyd isn't either using numbers you made up.

When it was pointed out you were wrong, you started talking about how 300 000 + PPV sales isn't special.

Speacial or not, Floyd can and will draw.

He's got a PPV date in November, and the date is still open for Margarito to step in.

He's made no mention of interest to do so, so we'll see where it goes from here.

Eh, no, the reason this all got started it because I responded to someone who said that Floyd puts asses in seats, as if Floyd is some big market ppv seller when he clearly is average. No one 'made up' numbers (it was a mere slip of the memory), although I'm sure you'd love to believe that so you can think you just won another e-battle. The internet war scene has become extremely important to your ego.

It has and always will be my opinion that 300,000 is nothing special. If you think it is, more power to you.

From this point on, I won't be looking at your posts. It has and always will be a complete and utter waste of time. Your MO is known to me, and not something I care to deal with.

So, you can insert your pre-packaged 'you just got owned' retort below. (^_^)

That claim was under the condition that Judah had handily defeated Baldomir, as expected.

Funny, I was on your ignore list to begin with, then you read my post and told me I was going back on it, and now here you are again reading and responding to my posts telling me I'm going back on ignore.

                      I see a pattern developing.

Floyd does put buts in seats. No one said he was Oscar.

You tried to disagree with that (to suit your agenda) by talking out of your ass and several people called you on it.

Saying Williams Klitschko did over 300K PPV buys has nothing to do with winning an E battle. You said it, I corrected you and you got pissy about it.

All in all you contributed nothing to the topic, complained and talked out of your ass and now you're leaving (supposedly).

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way yout.

                      See ya!
