I knew you'd surface to degrade the Klitschkos the 1st chance you got.
I have you on ignore for a reason. Everytime I get the inkling to activate your post it proved to be a mistake. Klitschko-Williams did not do only 75,000 buys. I don't see your source linked anywhere, and there's no reason to think it is any more valid than the ones that said it did over 300,000 buys.
Regardless (this is the key) 300,000 buys for Judah-Mayweather does not mean Mayweather puts asses in seats.
Bozo, didn't the Zab fight sell more than the Gatti fight for Mayweather.
If it did, this lame ass response is even ****tier.

Floyd, hate to break it to ya, is not that big of a name and he absolutely does NOT put asses in seat. His fights have been notoriously UNDERSOLD aside from the Gatti fight (which was thanks to Gatti, not Floyd).
It doesn't matter who you think 'needs' the fight more. Mayweather is number one p4p and you cannot KEEP that nomer by fighting Gattis and Sharmba Mitchells. The time is long overdue for Floyd to step it up. When he went to 135 he went after the toughest hombre in that division. He needs to stop stalling and take a on a similar tough hombre in Margarito, or he can relinquish his p4p status...period.
THe general public would've been much hore hyped to the Judah-PBF fight if Judah hadn't lost the fight with Baldomir. I didn't order the PPV because after Judah's show against Baldy I figured odds of his success were slim to 'nil. THat fight probably could've drawn at least 350 to 400 if Zab hadn't acted a fool.
Also... maybe I missed it, but we're discussing PBF's power to draw a crowd compared to... Margarito? Please. Even if PBF's drawing power isn't what many believe it to be it's still twice that of Marg's easily.
300,000 is a drop in the bucket. You do realize this, right? Klitschko-Williams got almost 100,000 more than that. The REAL ppv draw in the sport is De La Hoya and no one else. If you can't crack 450,000 buys when you fight the recent welterweight champ, then you are NOT putting asses in seats.
As I said, and as HBO has noted in some of PBF's biggest fights, the arena has been undersold.
Please do try hard not to take anything I say personally.
Floyd carried those cards by himself.
300,000 buys in the Mitchell fight was HUGE, and 350,000 with Zab was very solid.

Now, I'll just put ya back on ignore.
What's hilarious is that you opened the "view post" in the first place.
First of all, you pulling numbers out of your ass has nothing to do with me.
Williams vs Klitschko was reported to have grossed 120 000 PPV buys. Later, several articles came out aledging HBO fudged the numbers, and that it did as few as 75K.
December 27, 2004 - Much to **********'s surprise, the December 11 Vitali Klitschko-Danny Williams PPV did not generate 120,000 PPV homes as HBO has previously indicated. Several reliable sources have informed **********.com that Klitschko-Williams generated less than 100,000 PPV buys. We also understand the actual number of homes that purchased the fight was closer to 75,000 than 120,000. Evidently, the American public isn't buying into HBO and Ring Magazine's classification of Klitschko as "the heavyweight champion." Several calls have been placed to HBO's PPV whiz Mark Taffet, none of which have yet to be returned. K2 Promotions, the promoter didn't have the exact number for **********.com when we called them over the weekend. We will continue to keep you updated, so stay tuned. Until then remember where you heard it first! (5:20 PM ET)
Don't get angry with me because you pulled a number out of your ass and got corrected.
