Ask Arum why they can't. He's the one writing the check for $8.5M. I'm assuming he has a relationship with the T&M. He said the numbers don't work unless it's at the T&M in Oct. Floyd doens't want it, so he's going to stick to his Nov date. Remember this offer is like a month old by now. LOL When Arum made the offer, Floyd didn't say peep for a week, until he had figured a way out. Then he repeated "Nov 4th" over and over in the BT chat, once Arum had said the numbers only worked for Oct in Vegas. That was Floyd's way out. And Bozo is repeating it like a parrot, and he's gotten a couple of followers to start repeating it as well. LOL Guess what? If Floyd wanted the fight for a career-high purse, then he'd have said "I'm taking it, but Arum has to get the ok from HBO." Boom, done deal and he fights Margarito in Oct. He didn't want Margarito, so he's sticking to Nov.

Floyd is post-2000 RJJ all over again. Get through some tough fights early in your career, get the P4P ranking, and then set it on cruise and fight second-tier fights instead of the most challenging fights available. Everyone knows it. Everyone can see it. Look at Floyd's competition post-2002. That is the last time he fought the most challenging fight available to him. That's why he's working his way down the P4P lists. Everyone is sick of it. I'm glad. I'm sick of it, too. He's too skilled a fighter for everyone to just sit back and watch him fight 2nd and 3rd tier fighters, or guys coming off losses. He says he's the best. The only way you can do that is to fight the best. He isn't, so he isn't. Simple.

Still don't make any sense to me, if you're the bigger name you have more clout, you call the shots. Mayweather's ducking cause he want the fight on his date is BS, the man is the bigger draw, he puts asses in seats. If Margarito wanted a shot at breaking PBF's winning streak he'd take the extra month to train & face him in Nov. Your argument is Mayweather should take the fight, but I think Margarito needs it more, but I guaranty Floyd will school Margi sooner or later.

Common sense rules. Margarito needs this fight 100x more than Floyd does. He should be the would barganing with Floyd to see how he can fight him, not trying to make Floyd jump through hoops. And I posted a month ago I didn't buy the offer Arum offered Floyd.

& to say he's not fighting top competition just proves how biased you are, cause he wants DLH & Mosley who are bigger threats then Margarito will ever be. Right now is the time for Mayweather to put up or shut up, but coming up to his highest-paying fight(DLH) and by far the one that'll bring him to the attention of the masses then he can chose to fight whomever he wishes IMHO.

No one's falling for your bull ****.

You have no answer as to why Margarito isn't calling for the Nov. 4th date where his payday would be no different.

Arum knew Floyd had an HBO date in November, and knew Floyd's corener wouldnt' be available to him in October.

You have no answers for any of that, and foolishly keep suggesting Floyd "could" just walk away from his HBO contracted date and go so far as to insinuate it would be no problem for HBO to work with Arum in October when Top Rank runs it's own PPV's and is HBO's competition.

You're talking out of your ass, and it's been illustrated over and over.

The facts are plain and simple, and becuase you lack anything to refute them, you spout non sense because you're embarassed.

All you're doing is putting your biased ignorance on display in what is now the 4th or 5th thread in a row on the topic.

Floyd fought Gatti in Atlantic City on PPV and each fighter made just over 3 Million.

Yet Floyd vs Margarito is going to generate enough money that Floyd's going to get 8.5 Million alone before Margarito gets a purse?

                YEA RIGHT.

Only fools are fooled so easilly.

Funny how the only ones who can't see through the bull **** are those who are dependant on bull **** to fuel bull **** agendas.

                  BULL**** and you know it.

The ****ing Thomas and Mack Center or the MGM Grand? Are you serious?

You can't compare the two and I'm sure the MGM grand will pay more because they have more money to pay. Imagine all those thousands of people at the fight afterwards ******** at the casino. It would make the casino management's mouth water.

                  Please THINK before you type.

mECH... when will you learn to keep your mouth shut? You keep responding and you keep on looking ******.

You haven't rebutted anything that me, bozo or anyone else has said. This is turning into a endless circle argument. You say one thing, then we refute that, then you just say that one thing again.

I'm begining to believe that you know that we're right because you have absolutely no rebutal for what we're saying...

                    • I understand your frustration, guys. You don't want to believe Floyd is scared to fight someone. It's cool. He's your hero or whatever, so you're going to invent excuses for him.

If he wanted that $8.5M fight, then he would have said "Yes, I'll take it." and worked it out with HBO. Look at how hard Floyd worked to keep the Judah fight ($5.5M) going. LOL He went on a media campaign apologizing for the guy. You're telling me Floyd couldn't fight Margarito in Oct if he wanted to? LOL He wanted the Judah fight, so he made it happen ($5.5M) and he doesn't want Margarito, so he's sticking to his original date (losing an $8.5M guarantee). It's that simple.

I understand you guys feel the need to take up for him. Kudos, that's great. But Floyd is turning down a career-high purse. Floyd runs his career. Arum runs Margaritos. Margarito doesn't have anywhere near the control of his career that Floyd has. You guys all know that. Arum made the offer for the T&M in Oct only. He's already committed to the place, obviously. Floyd is not interested in any negotiation that would give him a career-high payday. He wants to stick to Nov 4th and away from Margarito. He called Margarito "easy work," remember? Then he looked scared when Margarito walked up on him to beg him for a fight, remember? Then he turned down an $8.5M offer to fight him, remember?
