Why Would Mayweather Duck Margarito?

It seems strangely masochistic....that Pacfans are looking for another fight with Barrera. That's pretty sad.

Pac should fight someone on his level, IE move up in weight and face a real challenge like Corrales or Freitas.

Oh and I didin't want to turn this into a discussion about Pacquiao, but since we're discussing rematches then wtf.

Oh and it's obvious that Floyd didin't think the 8 million dollars Arum offered him was enough. Simply because that would have been the biggest payday of his career....and he declined. That to me means he weighed the risk and rewards of that prospect fight.

If the fight wasn't the least bit threatening to Floyd....he would have never turned down 8 million dollars to fight Margarito in the first place. That's just simple business.

Who cares what Pac wants, Barrera should want the fight. He should want to set the record straight and kick some ass. It's been years. Morales gets spanked and wants to get back in there immediatly. There is no reason for fights against Peden, Fana and Juarez. Barrera should have went after Pac as soon as he won the trilogy against Morales or at least one fight after that.

Let's forget Margo's Mexican and PBF is P4P king. PBF should take the fight and quit waiting for a fight with DLH that might not ever happen. He should take the 8 mil and fight Margo now and shut up all the critics. Let's face it, those two are the biggest names at 147, they should go at it. This might even put PBF in a better position to ask for more $ in a fight with DLH, if DLH wants to fight him next year and if he can get past Margo.

When Barrera fought Morales, and beat him. I thought he should fight Pacquiao, but then they said he is fighting Fana. I excused him and said ok, he can fight Pacquiao after this! Then he fights Peden, it got me annoyed, but I said he can fight him after this!

Then he fights Juarez...but I excused him enough times. Now he's fighting Juarez again. He will never fight Pacquiao, there will always be that big black hole in the resume and career of Marco Antonio Barrera.

In the last few weeks, there have been a lot of articles with respect to the subject of Floyd Mayweather, Jr. avoiding a potential date with WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito. Very few of these articles have merit, and a lot of them are laced with an abundance of biased opinions. [details]

You ask who did Margarito beat? Well who has Judah ever beaten? He melts down mentally in every major fight he is in. He comes off a loss with the bifggest fight of his career on the line and loses to Baldomir a guy with nine losses yet he still gets the fight. Floyd and his people knoew that Judah was a safer fight. You also try to throw Barerra in saying why hasn't he fought Pacquiao again. You can't even begin to compare the two look at Barerra's past and his competition. Fighting the three wars with Morales alone should enough to make him legit, but he fought Junior Jones, and schooled the Prince when the Prince was in his prime, and also just took on one of the youngest and toughest guys in his division in Rocky Wharez just to mention a couple of names so that whole argument is invalid. Also, Pacquiao and Barerra will fight again. I can understand Floyd not wanting to fight Marg the first time, and waiting on Oscar but that fight isn't happening for now. He gets 8 million offered to him again, and turns it down. When he mentions wantintg to fight guys like Tsyzu or Mosely if he wins starts to make you wonder.Fighting Mosely at this point in his career doesn't mean as much. If he would have fought him a few years back when Mosely was in his prime it would be a different story. Mosely isn't nearly the fighter he used to be. Mosely has already said that there is no way he can make the welter limit in time this year and that he wants to be able to get used to the weight after the Vargas fight. Who can blame him. Shane said that he need to go ahead and fight Marg. and go from there. So right now Marg is his only option and still nothing. He always says if the money is right, he'll fight anyone and that Tony is an easy win. Well if thats the case fight him and shut the **** up. Arum has come out and said that this is a one fight deal and that there are no options for upcoming fights or cotractual obligations and that Floyd will mnake the majority of the money.
