Tyson Fury had no intention of fighting Wilder next.

But why string the fans along as if the rematch is happening next? All we've heard from Warren and Fury for months is the Wilder rematch is happening next and an announcement is imminent. Clearly that was never the case.

Fury made some comments about a month ago that alarmed me, something along the lines of "Even if it's not Wilder next I'll be out in May" I raised my eyebrow at it but thought nothing of it. It makes sense why he said that now.

Bob Arum's comments in the media and high praise of Fury make sense now also.

Warren tried to say at the Presser that this deal has come about in the last week. Yeah.....right. Somehow I doubt that.

Strung the fans along for months now when they had no intention of a rematch. Atleast not next anyway.

Poor from Fury and Warren. Alot of UK fans like myself who were planning on traveling have had things on hold all this time for no reason.
I hear you Dan...What we need to do to get rid of Arum and King is to steal the celery off the buffets and meetings where they attend. I was telling Noel those old guys in the 80's love the stuff! keeps em right regular and all. I say Bob gets no damn celery until he stops screwing up fights like he has done for ages!!

Seriously this guy has always been poison. Fury should know better.

      Posts like this are hilarious.

Did you even watch the fight live? Because if you did, you would have seen that the ref told both fighters exactly what he would do and how he would act in the ring if anyone got in trouble etc. He was consistent with this with the knockdowns etc.

In other words, with a different ref, Fury doesn't lay there and take his time as much, because like most major pro fights, both fighters know what they should expect from the ref, and be expected to do.

Literally the only time I mentioned Wilder in that post:

There's no way for my to explain the colorline as a business practice and it not seem like I'm talking about Deontay a little bit and I don't feel like that because I project racism so much as you lot jump right into the role.
I'll be direct with you. Seems to me you're avoiding the issue because I taught you something you'd rather not have known.

Tell me about the colorline son. I didn't need to mention Wilder at all and only did to explain where I'm coming from.

You completely and totally disregarded the point: You guys get called racists because you are acting like colorline racists. If you ain't explain how. Telling about Wilder fighting no hopers doesn't speak to how your conduct and what you support is very near the conduct of unabashed racists' in anyway.

"We guys" get called racist because a significant proportion of Wilder fans, like Wilder himself, are so fixated on seeing racism in others that they are blind to their own dyed in the wool racism.

It takes a special kind of blindness - or ******ity - not to see that any line which has Fury and AJ on one side and Wilder on the other side is not a colour line!

All this people really need to pay attention to the referees instruction, I mean he was interviewed a few days later and he was quoted as much. "I told them what would happen if one of them gets knock down" etc

It can't be more clear you're ducking the post.

I just want to clarify something with you. When I leave you alone, I think this will be the third or fourth time it's happened, it isn't because I feel defeated it's because I feel your posts juxtaposed to mine say all I need to say about your ignorances and closed mindedness.

You know the saying you can only lead a horse to water?

Whether the colour line you talk about was drawn because of economics rather than anti black sentiments .. it was still drawn and it discrimated against black fighters because of their race, so it was racist.

Fury and AJ fans are not discriminating against Wilder because of his race - how could that possibly be the case when AJ himself is black?

So you have no justification for calling them racist or saying they are acting like racists. Those are absurdly ****** things to say.

Fury was also pushing for the david haye fight because he could tell haye was done for before a lot of people in boxing realised.
That's ridiculous. Fury stepped up and fought Wilder on Wilder's turf, and he did it when he knew he was still a long way off his peak form.
