A dominate win over a guy like Pedraza/Linares/Campbell/somebody within the top 15 would be a good way to prove it. You know what I mean? Davis at least has a dominate win over Pedraza (a world/former champion & talented amateur). It's hard giving a guy who's still considered a "prospect" a shot at Lomachenko when there's a lot of proven fighters out there. We all know that Lomachenko is ideally a 130 lber, so there are even some 130 fights I would be down to see.

I'd much rather see Lomachenko fight (in this order):

#1 Mikey - No doubt this is the fight we all want to see. Although I'm not sure if after this Spence fight Mikey can ever fight at 135 again, or if he takes any damage.
    #2 Davis
#3 - 6 Commey, Easter Jr., Berchelt, or Oscar Valdez
#7 Luke Campbell --> He had a redeeming win over Yvan Mendy. I think he's a decent fighter, and would win a rematch over Linares, as well.
Pedraza already sounds like he doesn't want that work!

    February 4, 2019:

One of the possible fights being discussed with Pedraza, is a confrontation against Teofimo López, an opponent who brings little appeal to the Puerto Rican boxer's team.

They see no upside in beating an undefeated, rising contender in Lopez - unless there is something of worth at stake.

"The question we have to ask ourselves is what can he bring to the table? To our judgment, nothing. If he wants to use us as a ladder to climb up, he's wrong, "Espada reacted to Carlos Gonzalez. "We're going to look upwards and not answer the call to help elevate someone else.

"It seems that Teofimo thinks that since José looked good against Lomachenko, he can use him to make a name for himself. The only way he would be attractive for us is if there is a title at stake."

I think Loma will use the same excuse, that Lopez doesn't bring anything to the table! That's a shame because it's probably the best fight out there @ 135! I don't see much in the TR stable for Loma. Hopefully Berchelt steps up, since TR is co-promoting him on ESPN!

At 24, Mayweather was fighting P4P killers like Diego Corrales.

At 24, Davis is fighting....Hugo Diaz?

That doesn't sound like the Mayweather blueprint.

the only fighters Floyd ever fought coming off losses were rematches against Castillo and Maidana. He's beaten every future hall of famer in this era. GTFO here you butt hurt idiot

Mayweather would have taken 8 rounds to analyse Ruiz... not taking any chances. Then would have cruzed to a UD, putting even his fans to sleep... who would have woken up the next morning raving how much money Money made.

Mayweather was fighting way better opposition. I wouldn't say he is following PBF blueprint at all.
