I believe you're talking about Manny, he was the one fighting guys of losses and guys Floyd had already beat, Manny gets more credit for beating older fighters Floyd beat years before.
And that's the double truth Ruth!!!

People are incompetent I swear. When Floyd came out he was a killa, with Al he became a business man. People love rewriting history, when he wanted all your favorite whoevers in their prime they didn’t want him until he was a household name & the risk was worth the reward.

Fans don't understand business, & just because I'm saying this doesn't mean as a fan myself I like what's being done with Tank; I just understand what's going to make money & increase his starpower. I wouldn't say this is the "Mayweather blueprint" because Tank is roughly the same age Floyd was when he fought Chico & Tank ain't fighting nobody near that level in fact he's fighting people levels below. But I do think this is the "Mayweather blueprint" had he had Al haymon from the jump.

if it makes sense = if we don't have a single chance to loose. Otherwise... "I easily can beat him but we are not in a hurry".

Never before have I seen people trying to make excuses for a world champion to duck a fight because they are, "too young". He's 24 years old. Hearns fought Leonard at 22. I shouldn't need to talk about Wilfred Benitez. Roberto Duran had barely turned 21 when he fought and beat ****ing Ken Buchanan for his first major world title. You bring up Canelo, but what matters is Canelo fought Floyd Mayweather Jr., even at his young age of 23 years old, and even with a catch-weight. Not a good idea to bring up his name when the fight still went down.

How are you going to mention "20 fights" professionally (he's had 21, now), without acknowledging Lomachenko has only had 13 fights? Not to mention, and before you mention amateur pedigree, Davis has had 221 amateur fights in comparison (which isn't as important as professional fights, obviously).

This fight needs to happen within 1 year. By then, Lomachenko will be 32 and Davis will be 25. If you still make excuses or claim Davis needs more time/should dictate when the fight happens/blah blah blah, then you're just making excuses and don't want to see a good fight--- you want to see Davis win regardless of the condition of the other opponent.

Davis will be entering his prime, while Lomachenko will be exiting his (if that already isn't the case). Enough with the excuses.

Also, this is an insult to Floyd's legacy when they are saying they are following the Mayweather Jr blueprint. Floyd was dominating 130 and destroyed Diego Corrales at the age of 23, who was rated P4P at the time.

Do you think Lomachenko should fight Teofimo Lopez this year? Lopez said if they don't get Loma this year, they're going to 140 in 2020!
