It don't seem like the Mayweather blueprint to me. Unless he means Mayweather, the promoter, blueprint for Tank now.

Better for midget Tank to follow the blue print of midget Pac! Fight the big men like Pac did -Oscar, Cotto, Margarito & Floyd! Stop fighting small boys & unknown guys!

Like I said people are incompetent. Let me add to that reading is fundamental.

You may wanna re-read or ask a question since you clearly don't understand.

He could simply follow Floyd! Floyd beat Oscar @ 154, Cotto @ 154, and Canelo @ 152! Manny beat Oscar @ 147, Cotto @ 145, and he never fought Canelo! Floyd's path is better! But I agree, Tank should fight a bigger opponent soon...Manny Pacquiao @ 140! Make It Happen!

When Floyd was with Top Rank he didn't duck anybody. That's before he became "Money Mayweather" the businessman.

He chose who he fought and would who would bring in the most money. He can't fight everyone at once. The reality is that most of those guys decided to fight him when he was the money guy. Those guys chose not to fight him during his pretty boy days when they were the ones that could make the fight. Ppl trash Floyds competition but praise their favorite fighters opponents when they aren't fighting the same level of opponents consistency.

I shouldn't need to talk about Wilfred Benitez. Roberto Duran had barely turned 21 when he fought and beat ****ing Ken Buchanan for his first major world title. You bring up Canelo, but what matters is Canelo fought Floyd Mayweather Jr., even at his young age of 23 years old, and even with a catch-weight. Not a good idea to bring up his name when the fight still went down.

How are you going to mention "20 fights" professionally (he's had 21, now), without acknowledging Lomachenko has only had 13 fights? Not to mention, and before you mention amateur pedigree, Davis has had 221 amateur fights in comparison (which isn't as important as professional fights, obviously).

This fight needs to happen within 1 year. By then, Lomachenko will be 32 and Davis will be 25. If you still make excuses or claim Davis needs more time/should dictate when the fight happens/blah blah blah, then you're just making excuses and don't want to see a good fight--- you want to see Davis win regardless of the condition of the other opponent.

Davis will be entering his prime, while Lomachenko will be exiting his (if that already isn't the case). Enough with the excuses.

Also, this is an insult to Floyd's legacy when they are saying they are following the Mayweather Jr blueprint. Floyd was dominating 130 and destroyed Diego Corrales at the age of 23, who was rated P4P at the time.
Not making excuses just pointed out the double standards. If you're a champ you should take on anyone regardless of age. Canelo fought FLoyd but you have everyone making excuses for Canelo being too young, even now all of sudden Canelo be saying he was too young and Floyd took advantage. Look at Munguia, GB isn't even bothering putting him in with any top fighters cause he's too young.

Can't compare a fighter that turned pro at 18 and one who turned pro at 25 and stayed in the amateur mastering his craft. Loma has 13 fights but people seem to forget he's 30, turned pro at 25. Have 6 or 7 fights that should have counted a pro fights. Like I said, I have no problem with Tank fighting Loma, but just pointing out the double standards ppl have.

                    keep it real

How about teaching Davis how to read a blueprint instead of following Mayweather's blueprint cause we know Mayweather can't read his own...

Teofimo Lopez looks like the goods, but he needs at least one step-up fight. He just needs that one win to prove he's as good as the eye-test indicates he is. A dominate win over a guy like Pedraza/Linares/Campbell/somebody within the top 15 would be a good way to prove it. You know what I mean? Davis at least has a dominate win over Pedraza (a world/former champion & talented amateur). It's hard giving a guy who's still considered a "prospect" a shot at Lomachenko when there's a lot of proven fighters out there. We all know that Lomachenko is ideally a 130 lber, so there are even some 130 fights I would be down to see.

I'd much rather see Lomachenko fight (in this order):

#1 Mikey - No doubt this is the fight we all want to see. Although I'm not sure if after this Spence fight Mikey can ever fight at 135 again, or if he takes any damage.
                      #2 Davis
#3 - 6 Commey, Easter Jr., Berchelt, or Oscar Valdez
#7 Luke Campbell --> He had a redeeming win over Yvan Mendy. I think he's a decent fighter, and would win a rematch over Linares, as well.
