    wins over

    GGG
    Lara
    Trout
    Cotto
    Chavez Jr
    Mosley
    Khan
    Kirkland
    Angulo
    Lost to GGG twice
Barely sc****d past Lara, debatable decision
    Trout loses to everyone good
Cotto was naturally smaller and near retirement, but a good win nonetheless
Chavez was weight drained and barely threw a punch, though I give Canelo credit for fighting a bigger man
Shane Mosley was 137 years old. 137 years old!
    Khan lol, you serious?
Kirkland and Angulo big deal, solid wins but nothing special

Conclusion: no, Canelo isn't the fighter of the decade, he's just the highest profile star.

I'm not a canelo hater at all, or a GGG fan.

I actually prefer canelo if anything I think he takes on tough challenges and was at a size disadvantage vs GGG

But I can't make an argument that he shouldn't have at least ONE loss from all those fights

He need to do more to be fighter of the decade

But no way he deserved another L

He only lost clearly against Floyd

Trout schooled Cotto and gave Charlo a lot of problems

                Outlanded in jabs

He outlanded GGG in power punches

                Did more damage in GGG

Was better in attack and defense

                Still crying

Hard to imagine who else could get it. Kid's been being groomed to be the face of the sport since he was about 20 years old and has had all the right names put in front of him. That he had more opportunities than other equally good fighters does not in any way lessen his achievements - kid still did what he had to do and beat who he had to beat (or close enough anyway).

He certainly ain't the best fighter of this decade H2H for my money, but no one else who's fought for the entire decade has close to the roster he has, regardless that some of those names weren't entirely at the top of their game when he fought 'em.

Cotto was a good fighter in 154, not his best weight but was not a bad fighter

Trout is a good fighter too, past his prime gave problems to Charlo

Floyd barely won the fight against Castillo, Maidana I and Pacquiao
