Most definitely have a case. If he beats jacobs and goes up to face Callum Smith and beats him. He'll be it unanimously. He has by far the best resume in boxing aside from pac.

Yeah the fighter of the decade should be Canelo

It’s not like he needed biased judging to get wins over Lara & Golovkin

      Or was popped for steroids

      Definitely FOTD material right there

Canelo was going up in weight for those fights, not a forgone conclusion it goes to a decision.
He had a Mayweather payday on the line. Most of these young fighters now wouldn’t risk that.

If the key criterion is "most dominant boxer", I'd give it to Floyd.

              -- Better wins than Canelo
-- Beat Canelo head to head with ease
-- No positive testing for PEDs
-- Pacquaio won the award for the 2000s decade, it's Floyd's turn

But if the criteria are more about popularity, and who is the new face of boxing, then Canelo.

p4p could be just due to eye test, fotd is more of accomplishments ... canelo beats jacobs and got this one without a doubt...
crawford could be p4p #1 just like ggg was at some point but neither has enough accomplishments to be fotd...

I'm not a canelo hater at all, or a GGG fan.

I actually prefer canelo if anything I think he takes on tough challenges and was at a size disadvantage vs GGG

But I can't make an argument that he shouldn't have at least ONE loss from all those fights
