You wouldn't get enough signatures for a petition, but you could write a letter to Al Haymon, or whoever it is that promotes Ortiz now, and ask him to start offering decent money to some of these guys you think Ortiz should be getting fights with. Hearn doesn't owe him a living, you know.
Is Luis Ortiz the greatest myth in boxing history?

If no one fights the man, its no choice really. Lets not mention some of the names on ajs and wilders and furys resumes tho .... double standards af, we can play that game all day. Its only cojanu yet parker and that real hypejob naThan gorman couldnt even dent him when he was acting like a human punching bag for them. Its not who he fought only, its the performances. I think he put on a better show against kaufmann, thompson and david allen before the ko than say for example wilder did with szpilka, molina, gerald and other dust sweepers before he ko'd them, when some of them were actually outboxing him before the ko. And of course jennings who took wlad the distance in a good competitive fight is now garbage, when it suits your guys narrative isnt it? Tell you what, you go get your head checked, make sure it doesnt have a severe case od ******ation and DKSABitis, because the telltale signs are all there. Gotta be a mutt to think ortiz is a hypejob or overrated, especially after that performance against the wbc champion at 39 years of age. One of the most skilled, technical, fierce, strong, ruthless, fast and powerful heavyweight boxers i have ever seen and i enjoy all his fights. I cant even imagine what he could have done had he turned pro earlier.Last edited by JSN006; 01-10-2019, 02:03 PM.Comment

Second, whether I'm interested in a fight doesn't make one jot of difference to whether it gets made or not.
Personally, I would love to see AJ flatten Ortiz and close all this nonsense down for good. But the fact is that if he fought someone who had just been KTFO by Wilder, instead of Wilder himself, or Fury, or Dillian Whyte, it would go down like a lead balloon with the majority of the UK fanbase.Comment

Of course you are right. Hez in the "high risk low reward" category but his team should up their game by sending contracts out to other top then guys. Let them make attempt for fans to see their will to get a big fight. It's not enough to call out fighters, they have their own management and they will also evaluate the risk/financial rewards and other stuffs like that.
At the end of the day, no matter how technically good you are, you will be rated by the quality of opponents you faced not fight you tried to make that didn't work. Ortiz doesn't have much time, his management needs to act fast.
As far back as 2016
http://www.espn.com/blog/dan-rafael/...vyweight-clash
Golden Boy Promotions offered the fight to several candidates, including Andy Ruiz, Andrey Fedosov, Carlos Takam, Alexander Ustinov and former world titleholder Bermane Stiverne, but was rebuffed time and again.
Dimitrenko and promoter Greg Cohen, however, accepted the fight. Golden Boy is awaiting a signed contract, but the terms have been agreed to.
Dimitrenko opted out of the contract back then, tooLast edited by JSN006; 01-10-2019, 02:15 PM.Comment

PS whyte ducked him in december. You need to keep up with the news, dumdum
There is nothing to suggest an ortiz aj fight will do bad with the uk public if the aj molina/martin/breazeale fights were accepted by the public. Try some
Other dumb excuse now, hearn fanboy. Amuse me. Defo a millennial and a biatch tooLast edited by JSN006; 01-10-2019, 02:14 PM.Comment

2 wins and both v impressive to me even the kauffman one. And to the other guy, ummm yes .... title shots are mostly given out for free to cherry picked opponents. Breazeale and molina earned the aj shots? Szpilka molina arreola washington and duhaupas earned the wilder shots? LolComment
