Personally, I would love to see AJ flatten Ortiz and close all this nonsense down for good. But the fact is that if he fought someone who had just been KTFO by Wilder, instead of Wilder himself, or Fury, or Dillian Whyte, it would go down like a lead balloon with the majority of the UK fanbase.
Nah, the FACT is ya'll want to go & talk why not or should not instead of saying you want to see it just like you was protecting Triple L HARD.

PS whyte ducked him in december. You need to keep up with the news, dumdum

There is nothing to suggest an ortiz aj fight will do bad with the uk public if the aj molina/martin/breazeale fights were accepted by the public. Try some

You keep mentioning 2 bad performances he had where he was dominant in one and finished it anyway (allen) and one where he still got a bunch of kds against a guy who clearly just wanted to run a marathon (scott). Fact is ortiz is a great fighter and wilder is lucky to have survived that 7th round. You guys are part of the problem when your only reasoning is 'he has nothing to offer' (false anyways) and 'muh he had off nights'. Great fighter, and the fact no one wants to fight him says volumes about him. Whyte was offered the fight and ran to chisora, fwiw. To call ortiz overhyped or a myth when the fact is his skills are arguably the best in the hw division right now (all round skills including power too, not just a herky jerky defensive skill like fury) and talent like him and aj are one in a million in the hw division and he will be talked about and remembered for years to come when he retires. So enjoy him while you can and push for a fight between him and joshua if you really want to see great exciting fights. I remember a time when the best fought the best and it wasnt excuses and what has he got to offer and bla bla. Sadly that time is over.
When Ortiz start putting 5/10k fans on seat to watch him and his management start sending out contracts to other top 10 fighters, then I will take him serious.

Anything short of that is still media propangada to get another title shot which isn't gonna happen.

Yeah its boxing fans today. Theres a 'but' for everything. But he has no name, but he brings nothing (wtf ?), but he dont speak english, but this but that waaah waaah. Damn, i just wanna see the best fight the best in every division. And apparently we still have some guys like usyk who subscribe to that. And i believe aj and whyte arent the issue, hearn is. I dont buy 'if the fighter wants the fight, he will override the promoter' one bit. Not nowadays.

Lol there it is, the asses in seats excuse. Whyte and aj alone can fill the seats dude, these are all excuses. Helenius and molina didnt fill those seats alone. It takes 2 to tango, even povetkin who also dont speak english and going by your terms had no belt to offer filled the seats. This toxic talk of you 'boxing fans' just kills me. And the way you deliver it," then i will take him serious", its as if you are the manager and promoter yourself. Sickening. Already showed you they been chasing big fights by that link and you conveniently ignored it. You know as well as i do that the list of fighters that ducked ortiz over the years is endless. Including wlad himself. Whyte recently... and for an eliminator, not for 'nothing'. Joyce apparently too, he went silent all of a sudden. Guess its the usual fighter wants it but management dont. Anyway just dont play daft, it doesnt work with me.

Those guys needed money for family upkeep.
Until you understand that boxing is a sport as well as a business, you will keep roaming round the circle.
There is nothing like sympathy fight. You have to work hard to get into title shot position. It's no Valentine gift.
