theres no thought involved....cotto was ringside for the gatti and after the fight he said he wasnt ready for floyd....no thinking involved...it was evident

and after floyd left TR that fight wasnt getting made for the reasons i explained....arum wasnt feeding any of his guys to take an L from the guy that left his company.....floyd/cotto got made easily once cotto got free from arum when he did

you line up a row of 6-7 names of guys he didnt fight...or didnt fight at a time when you wanted.....and thats the problem with boxing fans...when they dont like a guy they will always line up guy they didnt fight...heres a newsflash he couldnt fight them all and he couldnt do it consecutively....its not feasible....so he let some of them sort themselves out and they did......and fought what was left

take your favorite fighters and apply the same standards.....take loma or whoever you like and put 6-7 tough/dangerous guys in a row...i bet youll say "well no is taking back to back tough fights now...and plus he had surgery".........

Show me where Cotto said I wasn't ready for Floyd...Gatti wasn't all that he was a brawler, not in the class of Cotto. Gatti got beat by Manfredy, Ivan Robinson (twice), Mickey Ward, Oscar (this was a mismatch in size). in all these loses he took a lot of beatings. So Floyd fought Gatti after Gatti had all these horrible loses. And you think Cotto said he wasn't ready cause floyd beat Gatti....Trainers in the boxing world happen to see thru this crap....

What duh Hell!!!??? There was big fights to be made, but at that time they weren't making the big money Floyd made like years later with Cotto, Pac, Canelo. But they were there...and he quit!

Margarito, Cotto, Mosley...all money fights. Now don't get it confused with the type that floyd made when he fought Canelo, Cotto, & Pac years later. That money was on another level. Nut there was good money for the aforementioned fighters.

I said Cotto. Maybe Mosley but he wasn’t fighting at WW at the time. But nobody was giving Floyd 20 million to fight Margarito. You have to remember this is post Oscar and Hatton.
