What stood out the most about Oscar De La Hoy's legacy was his willingness to take on risks inside the ring. That's why he has six losses on his record because he challenged the best fighters of his era. He never ducked any fighter that us boxing fans demanded to see. He gets mad respect for that.

What would you consider the best fighters of his era that he fought? There's a lot of names but just like how people knot pick Floyd's wins, you could do the same for Oscar. A lot of his big names coming up were past it and Oscar did what he was supposed to do as the young fighter.

Oscar did pretty well vs Floyd actually...he didn't do that bad. 116-112 type of fight, that's better than most of Floyd opponents and that was at the end of Oscars career

Lets be real, Oscar was always going to get the benefit of doubt with the judges scoring when he fought Floyd. I was rooting for Oscar that fight and bet on him but there is no way Oscar won that fight let alone get a split decision. Same way Canelo got it from one of the judges.

Felix Trinidad, Sugar Shane Mosley, Pernell Whitaker, Fernando Vargas, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiaio and that's just at welterweight. Then there was Bernard Hopkins.
