Usyk vs Michael Hunter rematch in heavyweight division

I said in this site a few times already. A Usyk vs Michael Hunter rematch in the heavyweight division is a good way for Usyk to test the waters and wet his feet of this new division. Also that rematch can play differently.

Wonder how Usyk would deal with Ortiz size. Ortiz is a crafty southpaw with excellent power. Usyk doesn't have any physical advantages over Ortiz other than say footspeed. Would be an interesting scrap with Usyk maybe hitting the deck once or twice.

Aren't they both southpaw?

Ortiz and Povetkin seem like perfect fighters for Usyk to debut both probably a little over rated biggish names but now declining due to age.

I saw on an interveiw with Alex Arthur that Usyk walks around at 16 stone naturally, 224 lbs, and that's whilst his been in cruiser so Id imagine he'd only get heavier once he transitions to HW and Ortiz is only 240 so there won't be much of a weight advantage and despite what you guys say he hasn't demonstrated that monstrous power, couldn't finish someone who was on their feet and if thats an engine problem instead well you don't want that against Usyk. Plus both 6'3 I think people are underestimating the size of some of these cruisers.
Povetkin is smaller but more aggresive/active which caused Usyk a little bit of trouble with Bellew so that not a bad test.

Both will be a good measuring stick for any of the guys.

Fucc Lebdev off though he's just old as Pov/Ortiz and only a cruiser.

His quest to become undisputed cruiserweight champion is a good start. Briedis is a solid competitor and the Russian he faced in the final is formidable. It’s the lesson Usyk dished out that now makes you question Gassiev.

Usyk will box circles around Ortiz. And Usyk is from Ukraine, not Kazakhstan.

Povetkin is the more dangerous opponent.

No excuses, I’m not u. But I bet if Ward announced he was coming out of retirement and wanted to fight Usyk at cruiser you’d get defensive and say things like,

“Why is he picking on Usyk, he’s too small, didn’t he say he wanted to fight at heavyweight” ?

Same sh.t u said when Ward was trying to fight ggg:

“Why is he picking on the smaller ggg, why don’t he move up and fight Kovalev”

Then when Ward moved up to fight Kovalev cause ggg wanted no smoke, u said:

“He’ll never make it to the ring to fight Kovalev, he’ll fake a injury first”

That's what separated Usyk from Bellew. Tony was exhausted after 6/7 rounds and Usyk was just getting warmed up. His work rate and stamina are crazy for a 200lb+ man and they will be even harder for HWs to cope with than CWs.
