Why do boxers mostly not rotate their feet when punching?

Here above Tyson above uses his hips but doesn't rotate his foot at all for this punch. He does this for most of his punches

Joe Louis does move his feet rotates them puts the cigarette out so to speak, he does this for alot of his punches.

Why on earth wouldn't you move your feet and hips together?

In Thai boxing a good round kick turns the leg over and its more powerful than just flinging the leg with the hips, its heavier faster more powerful.

In Karate they don't "hit with the feet" but they still use the hips and its inferior to a beginners boxing punch for power, so why are alot of pro boxers most of them, using the hips reminiscent of a Karate man and keeping their feet static?

No ones looking at your feet how does it disguise anything? Even if they could see the feet and weren't concentrating on the shoulders etc the feet and hips move almost simultaneously ie very very close together in time.

They do rotate their foot but because they do it so naturally, the movement isnt exaggerated.

why would you rotate your feet for a straight punch?

I understand they have good use of the hips good control so basically you are saying that control takes over from the teaching que and then they fall into INFERIOR FORM?

So they no longer need to use the que because the hips are wired up, but then they carry on after with bad form but good hip control?

It all comes from rotation even the straight punches. Id say its more important to move the feet even if its only a little on straight punches because they rely on leg drive more.

Ive heard some say that that its about rooting and using friction to add rotational force but the body doesn't work like that very well in a rotation, it works like that in a linear movement when you push a car, it doesn't work like that in a rotation, Id say too much friction on the foot impedes rotation it doesn't add to it, slows it down and limits the range of motion and therefor the speed and power of the punch, also the leg just gives way theres nothing to rotate off from so max friction can also not make any/much difference because the hip still moves in without any friction regardless of how much friction is on the foot.

(seems to be a contradiction but isn't)

Lastly optimal seems to me to be medium friction where you CAN MOVE the foot but theres still friction with the ground. More friction = less ability to move and a slower lighter punch also the hip and leg just give way so its not like pushing a car from the ground the friction doesn't help like that much with the rotation. (you don't draw much power and rotate off the solid ground with a rotation because the hip moves in and around in a very "giving way" type of way, so you cant draw power from the ground like that)

The rooting affect has a small positive effect on rotational power at best, the foot and leg rotating has a much bigger positive effect on power
