floyds best weight is 130 maybe 135 mosley would have been a monster @ 140..and mosley can do everything mayweather can do but he hit harder..but heres the thing..mosley dosent have any defense he dosent block punches his his gloves he trys to bob and weave EVERYTHING and mosley dosent adjust his style when he fights different fighters..mayweather is a defense wizard and he knows how to adjust..mayweather would beat mosley by UD..im sure mosley would land the harder shots but mayweather would pick him off the hole fight..

ill use gatti mayweather for instance..if mosley and gatti fought @ 140 it would be a war with mosley coming out on top and he probably would be bruised a little..mayweather handed gatti his ass but it wasnt a war because he didnt let it become a war

tough one to call. mosley is somewhat of an enigma at 140. somewhat like pryor where we don't know how far his potential could go. i would of liked to see mosley - tszyu at 140.

if you came straight at mosley, or conversely sat back and let him use his jab, you were in trouble. i think mayweather would use lateral movement well enough to cause mosley problems early. mosley might get outslicked a little early on because he could be a slow starter, but mayweather doesn't hit hard enough (although he scored some proper KOs) and mosley is too cute not to get ****** clean.

whilst mosley could be bothered by quicker boxers, i think his reach advantage and natural strength would win through here. he was somewhat difficult to hit, and his tendency of countering to the body would negate some of mayweather's wily defensive skills, IMO.

so i think it points to mayweather being in front for 4-5 rounds, mosley going to the body and whipping in those left hooks to the head, pulling it back and piling on the pressure late (championship) rounds.

mosley by late rds KO/stoppage or points.

All you guys picking Molsey by KO are crazy. There is no right hand fighter that will KO Floyd unless he had a crazy size advantage on him. His D is too good for that. You might see some other guys get a punch here and there because they are lefty's but no way Shane gets a clean punch on Floyd that will stop him and the few times that he does, then Floyd also has a proven chin

I've met Shane and the guy has some really broad shoulders.. I think Mosley at 140 would be stronger and may be just as quick as PBF. Shane has a really good chin that has withstood the likes of De La Hoya's left hook. I saw PBF struggling against Zab in the first four rounds, even being knocked down (his glove had touched the floor) until Zab faded. Shane has more endurance than Zab. I say even right now at the age of 30+ (35 I believe?). PBF has a really great defense and a plethora of offensive tactics. In the end I would say, Shane by close decision.
