Why do you keep saying he was 21 years old when you know Canelo was 23 years old? Only scumbags intentionally spread false information.

I don't know what you're talking about. Floyd gets tons of credit for that win.

The guy was top of his division and he already had a lot of fights and beat some notable names.

He was 23. People would make you think he was 17. He was a man already.

It's like saying Mike Tyson was green when he lost his first fight. He was about that age.

Right. Anyone who thinks the 35yr old version of themselves could handily beat the 23yr old version of themselves has a lot to answer for.

My guess would be they haven't turned 35 if they believe that

In any profession, experience in your craft makes you better at what you do. Canelo of today is light years better than when he was yellow. And like one poster said here Floyd was closer to his prime than Canelo is to his.
people need to stop acting like it was a cherrypick all on floyd..like goldenboy didnt want the exposure and the fight for canelo

goldenboy knew canelo could afford a loss to the great mayweather at that point and still be a huge star later on....thats why they took it...they wanted the exposure for canelo...so dont act like it was all on floyd...idiots

If they never fought back then and people were asking for that fight right now you think Floyd would take it. Hell no!!! I think Floyd would have gotten more credit/respect if he fought the fights he fought when the guys were at their best. Cherry picker like D. Garcia, GGG. Waited 5years to fight Pacquiao after he was ktfo using steroids as an excuse. Mosley tested positive, berto tested positive and them fights were easily made. I guess thats being the A side.

Any true boxing fan knows that Canelo was ranked number one in the division at the time and just beat a prime undefeated Austin Trout in a close fight.

Go look at pictures of the weigh in. Canelo looked like a skeleton. Face all ****** in.

                      He was 23 and inexperienced.

Floyd would get seriously hurt if he fought Canelo right now.
