How come mayweather doesn't get much credit for beating Canelo?

Canelo was twice mayweathers size AND younger. Mayweather was an old man and made it look easy. It was a brilliant performance.

An EXTREMELY underrated win in boxing history, yet lots of people seem to overlook it....... Why?

Of course he does. Were u living under a rock? When Canelo beat GGG, it’s an automatic win for Floyd fans as well.
Had the the fight been at 154, it would’ve been his best win. That’s my only issue to it.

Floyds fans say tank is too young for lomachenko so therefore canelo was too young for mayweather. And he also drained him. If they fight now, canelo knocks him out in 3 rounds.

Because he was untested at the time, no outstanding dominant wins over anyone of note. Certainly didn't stop anyone of note and in most people's eyes wasn't top 15 pfp. Plus it was a CW.
They say Floyd would beat any version, so do it then. Then they say Floyd is too old now. Fair enough, you'll only get credit for the version of nelo you beat. Which wasn't a prime nelo.
Floyd was closer to prime than Nell was. Nel o has improved far much more than Floyd had deteriorated by 35 or however old Floyd was

Lol at Floyd being an “ old man” when he faced Canelo.

Floyd was a lot closer to his prime than Canelo was and that’s a fact.

Forget Floyd tho this is the canelo era

Because it's Mayweather, there's always a reason to hate

Coz he's just a Rookie and he was only 21. Lack of experience in pro fights and he fights the best at that time. That's obviously the best cherry pick Floyd made. Canelo was a rough diamond that time, unpolished and unrefined.. thus, he was cherry picked at the right time. He was still yellow.

In any profession, experience in your craft makes you better at what you do. Canelo of today is light years better than when he was still green. And like one poster said here Floyd was closer to his prime than Canelo was to his.

I remember fans wanting that fight so bad during that time, saying Floyd is running scared of him and all. Same old routine.

Not a super fan of Floyd, but Canelo was a world champ at that time. The only issue was the catchweight.

Still not proven much yet. He had much too learn as proven to what Canelo is of today. Floyd cherry picked him when he was still learning and evolving. Truth hurts, but we all know Floyd fights when all the advantages is stacked up against his opponents. He knows the right time to cherry pick.
