I'm a big fan of both. To me, Lomachenko does very well but may have lapses that Morales can exploit. However, I don't think he exploits them well enough. Loma by unanimous but competitive and very fun decision. Would love to see two great fighters like this engage.
What Eric Morales would have done to Lomachenko

Salido wasn’t his best opponent and he wasn’t in his prime by then. You can’t be in your prime after one 4-round fight and if you watch his fights beyond boxrec you’ll see a dramatic improvement even from the Russell fight to when he KO’d Salidos Daddy and even from that he improved fight by fight dramatically.Martinez lost clearly that second fight against Salido. And was destroyed by García.
Morales had a hard career since he was champion, fought against a lot of great fighter in a lot of divisions.
F.uck, he was a fat and old man and was fighting against Maidana and schooling him most of the fight.
Loma is far away of some Legends, he has a soft career. His best rival was Salido and he Lost. The second best fighter was Russell, and he did a great job but the others fighters he fought are trash.
Linares Lost against f.cuking Thompson Salgado and DeMarco.
Besides Chavez lost badly to the 3 best guys he fought (Whitaker, Fishnets and Tszyu) and beat zero great fighters yet I’m sure you have him all-time top 10.
Zarate lost badly to the best fighter he fought (Gomez), lost easily to the other great he fought (Fenech) and beat nobody close to great. I’m sure you think he’s great and better than dudes with far better resumes.
Saldivar lost badly to his best opponent. Olivares lost to his two best opponents by KO too for example.
Sanchez lost to Becerra and not the good one.
Then Finito Lopez never even fought anybody even as good as Linares yet you’ve talked on his greatness. Alvarez had far inferior skills and a lesser career.Last edited by chrisJS; 12-13-2018, 09:15 AM.Comment

Rigondeaux is too one-dimensional to handle a guy like Morales IMO. Hed win the early rounds with his left hand and Morales would work it out then beat him down the stretch.Comment

Exactly.
It was actually after that JMM fight and Morales loss which was only like two fights or so later that Pac started evolving and stopped exclusively stutter stepping into winging lefts and coming forward with reckless abandon. He had that little phase and got better and started observing and thinking more. Adding more feints, counters, developing his right hand.
For all the s hit people gave Roach, he really was perfect for Pac and did work on his weaknesses while retaining that agression. Really harnessed itComment

Man, you are crazy.Salido wasnt his best opponent and he wasnt in his prime by then. First of all, Salido won the rematch against Martínez , he Landed 100 more punches than him.
Loma had like 9038474748 fights un amateur, and had like 5 fights in the world series, he was the big favorite to win against Siri and he Lost.
You are mad but Loma accepted his L against Salido and said that he was a great warrior.
He was in prime because after that, Loma destroyed Russel JR.
Salido is better than Linares and all those dogs that Loma fought , he had better career than Linares.
You think that skills determinated what fighter is better. Nope, there are a lot of more things in boxing.
Well, following your stup.id lógic, Durán Lost against all his best opponents, except the first one against Leonard.
And you said that he is the #1 in Latinoamérica.
What tha f.uck hahahahahaha Rosendo Álvarez was a great fighter, a big slugger that no doubt was a better fighter than Linares.
Linares is like a kind of Amor Khan , Nice skills but lack of mentality and chin. He is a fragile fighter.
I don't like Zarate, but you need to Say that he destroyed Zamora that was a much better fighter than all the Loma rivals
Your comment about Chávez is very ******.
He Lost against Withaker fighting in his 4, división, 15 pounds up of his first división (130).
That's like see Loma against Crawford in 140 but he never Will have the balls to do ir.
Chávez would kill Loma in the ring, too.Comment

You don't know sh.it about boxing, man, really. And was dropped by a journeyman named Frankie Randall. And made him quit in the rematch.
Nobody said JCC was a bum. But, he struggled with Randall and was taken to school by Whitaker.
Funny enough, Whitaker was a switch-hitting southpaw who could move and hide his head really . Fought in the pocket and made people look ******.
You know, like Lomachenko?
" a great bending " ? What the fkk is that supposed to mean ?
Study the context of the fights.
Head movement, feints, thats bending.Comment

It was actually your point numb nuts not mine. I was using your point against you. If you can't see Loma's improvement post-Russell then I can't help you because you probably aren't watching or are just not understanding the sport correctly. Amateur is much different than pro hence why detractors give no credit to his amateur accolades. Different sized gloves, different scoring system, headgear, different rounds etc; A guy can't be in his prime after 1 pro fight and 4 rounds if he'd had a million amateur fights.Man, you are crazy.

Chavez did beat zero great fighters and that is a fact 100%. He lost to Whitaker and you use weight as an excuse yet Whitaker started at 135 so essentially the same size. That was Whitaker's 3rd division. Why did you fail to acknowledge that?
Alvarez a great fighter? LOL. Just stop. I've seen you call Joe Calzaghe and Lennox Lewis not good and certainly not great yet you think Alvarez was? LOL. Do you think Lopez had a better resume than Calzaghe? I love Lopez he's one of my favorites but his resume is trash and far worse already than Loma's in just 13 fights.Comment

I think Chavez is great BUT he did get beaten up by Randall and then quit in a re-match and got a gift BS technical decision. He did get slapped around by Whitaker and was given a gift robbery against Taylor with 2 seconds left in a fight he was way behind. And was dropped by a journeyman named Frankie Randall. And made him quit in the rematch.
Nobody said JCC was a bum. But, he struggled with Randall and was taken to school by Whitaker.

He also won very arguable decisions with LaPorte (who was faded) and Lockridge. He never beat a great fighter and the two best dudes he beat Rosario (was already ruining his life with drugs) and Camacho (already about 6-7 years past his best when he changed for the worst after Rosario) were good but far from great.
Chavez is great but gets overrated somewhat by his legions of worshipers.Comment
