Tough to tell. Morales got undressed by Zahir Raheem so it is possible that Loma would do the same. He seemed to struggle a little more with slick fighters I think but I couldn't say for sure. Peace.

I followed Morales closely and the 2nd MAB fight was it -- he was done, he looked battle torn and shot in the first Pacquiao fight. That wasn't the same Morales and the Morales that showed up for Raheem was most definitely not the same Morales.

He looked doughy and obviously having weight issues coming in heavy at 134 (career high). Lets be honest, he turned pro young (17), 12+ years in, and coming off hard years of legendary fights.

These idiots on this thread that keep mentioning Raheem as the reason why Loma would beat Morales keep failing to mention (on purpose of course) that The Morales who fought Raheem was an old Morales near the end of his career. Yes, he had a slight come back later, but it was not all that successful of a come back. Morales last great prime performance was against Paquiao.

A prime Morales would beat Loma. He would use his reach, height, and jab to control the much smaller Loma just as he did in the first Paq fight. Plus, he hits much harder than what Loma is used to thus making Loma much more cautious and reluctant to engage for long periods. Morales has a better chin than most of Loma's opponents and he would definitely not quit and sit on his stool.
