What Eric Morales would have done to Lomachenko

What do you think would have happened to Loma?

Eric would have got his ass whipped just like he did vs Raheem. Can't handle a slick fighter like Loma.

Tough to tell. Morales got undressed by Zahir Raheem so it is possible that Loma would do the same. He seemed to struggle a little more with slick fighters I think but I couldn't say for sure. Peace.

Morales beats him from corner to corner.

Morales would lose. The Raheem fight showed why he was kept away from guys who could move for so long. Granted he wasn't in his prime but the style is all wrong for Morales who really stopped knocking guys out once he got to 126. One armed Chavez, Hernandez, Espadas (before he was shot), Chi, Diaz, McCollough were all guys that didn't have exceptional defenses but went the distances no problem.

Morales was a great fighter no doubt but not this flawless unbeatable fighter some portray. He wasn't as good as Barrera and especially Marquez.

Morales was pretty relentless at times, could have presented a problem. Loma is clearly better in a technical sense, but he occasionally gets lost under pressure and caught. Winner might depend of what stage of their careers we're composing this fantasy match but regardless, it would be a hell of a fight.

Same thing he did to Marquez.
                Avoid him.
EM was a huge jr feather and feather who outsized his opponents on fight night .
He'd go on his magic diet before the weigh-in and make weight.

I wonder how many years he was on diuretic .

                  That was my first thought.

Morales JMM Arguello Monzon etc etc history is full of the style are squared up taught boxers that were exceptionally correct to what is taught in boxing, as well as being tough and having a great will to win. In spite of all their virtues they will always be beat by the great ones that are silky smooth naturally, thats why histories sweet sugar black fighters are so impressive the hand eye coordination is born in them.

At the elite level slick is so hard to beat over 12 rounds, its all comes natural to them and that will always out time technically correct fighters with a trained response which is slower processing in the brain.

Lomachenko would win. Like everybody already said Morales lost badly vs Raheem because of his great footwork and movement and Lomachenko is more skilled than Raheem.
