- He couldn't put away Machen (ingo did in 1 round)
- he sh.it himself against Clay and threw the rematch
- what could Leotis Martin do that Fury couldn't.

Liston is ridiculously overrated. Even before running Wilder through the mear grinder every real Boxing fan recognized Fury as the GOAT.

Liston was strong and powerful hitter but his skills are no way near Fury. Fury beats him either by KO (accumulation of punches) or simply by outboxing him.
