I have been a Fury fan a long time... But your treatment of Wilder is wrong headed. Wilder started boxing late, and has had to cut a lot of corners. He is getting good enough to make sure he can get his shots off. It would have been better for him to work with someone like Liston (Foreman's mentor) or Big George, as a younger man, but he is making Hay with the grass he has.

Fury is a fantastic fighter and Wilder managed to stay relevant and almost spark him. Wilder has to set up and shorten his shot. He seems to understand this progression.

They are all HW and all and i understand if they hit each other on the chin then they all would be hurt, but at HW to hurt someone 40 odd pounds bigger than you is amazing to see. If only Wilder can box a bit more.

Wilder doesn't run out of gas. He's the unload reload type of guy. He unloads his powershots then reloads. so it looks like he's out of gas a lot. but nobody has bad stamina has this level of power in the 12th.

this is why Mike Tyson for example, bad stamina, doesn't have any KO's beyond the 9th i believe.
What are you talking about? The fight DID go on and Fury is the one who had him hurt and holding to finish out. :/...

What’s freaky is how fresh Fury was when he got back up. Not sure I’ve ever seen anything like that. He looked completely fine. Straight zombie mode. All those long drug fueled nights where you thought youd die were no doubt good experience/preparation from coming back from the dead.

I think OP is the one who should be monitored for signs of concussion.

Haha Hardest puncher ever? Against what competition? He fought nobody, he knocked out nobody. He couldnt knock out a Fury that just lost 150lb and was in very mediocre shape after just fighting 2 absolute nobodies.
Let him knock out Parker, Whyte or Joshua then we'll talk, not some guys who are either absolute bums or 48 years old.

There were a lot of elite fighters that fought poor competition for prolonged stretches of their career and didn't KO every one of them. Wilder's power is real.

We have to also keep in mind, these are not accumulative punishment blows that Tyson, Shavers an Foreman dished out.

Wilder doesn't bother with none of that accumulative work. He's legit head hunting and once he connects the opponent just falls. He hits that hard at 212 lbs.

Nobody I've seen comes even close.

His power is absolutely amazing and phenomenal. He's knocking down and out guys who are outweighing by some 40 or more odd pounds or so.

He is 6 ft. 7 inches tall and 212.5 was his lowest weight in years. He is all bone and muscle at that weight and has almost zero body fat. He could dry out and make cruiserweight but not by much. There is no cruiserweight that I know of who carries as many pounds of lean muscle into the ring as Wilder does. Liston and Foreman weighed 214 pounds when they won the world heavyweight title and I think they punched at least as hard as Wilder. They didn't have as high a percentage of KOs as Wilder does because they fought better tougher opposition overall. Can you imagine Molina lasting 9 rounds with a prime Foreman, Tyson or Liston? I can't. We aren't living in some new era of 250 pound heavyweights. We have lots of 250 pound heavyweights because many of them are so FAT. Ortiz is really fat. If he was as lean as Wilder he would weigh less than Wilder. Fury is fat. If Fury was as lean as Wilder he would be under 230 pounds. AJ is a true giant without extra fat and he has weighed as low as 240. Wilder just shows that a lean hard punching heavyweight who weighs 210 to 220 pounds is plenty big enough to knockout any man alive if they land their best punches. Tyson, Liston, Foreman, Joe Louis and Jack Dempsey proved that many years ago.

which reminds me, Tyson Fury is not only 50 lbs heavier.

He also has reach and height on Wilder.

Yet he could not even buckle the man. Wilder is the closest proximity to superman.

I'm not entirely convinced he's the hardest puncher to date. He's only fought Luis Ortiz and Tyson Fury in terms of good competition.

Don't forget, George Foreman was 76 wins with 68 KOs, including his comeback wins at the age of 38ish-48.

Right now he looks on track to being known as the hardest puncher in heavyweight history, but he still needs to fight more names.
