Even the rounds that Fury got knocked down in, he won.
Let me ask you a question? How many times did Tyson Fury knock Deontay Wilder down?

He didn't, but who cares? Fights ain't scored via knockdowns.

The fact of the matter is, the knockdown rounds that Deontay Wilder won were more decisive than any of the rounds that Tyson Fury had won. Many of the rounds that Tyson won were close and very hard to score due to his low punch output.

        • ... When the "champion" fights at home, manages two KDs, and only gets a "draw"... it mean he clearly lost that fight...

Fights are not just scored on landed punches either. Defense and Ring generalship are also factors.

If you can't see that Tyson Fury won that fight, you need to brush up on your boxing.

It doesn't matter what I think or feel. What mattered is what those three official judges who scored the fight for Deontay Wilder though and felt.

I've already stated that I unofficially had Fury winning the fight but I was not one of the three official judges scoring the fight. So what I believe is both irrelevant and moot.

However, the official judges didn't think that Fury dominated the fight enough to justify taking the title away from Deontay Wilder. According to the three official judges scoring the fight; Tyson needed to do more and at least in their judgement he did not.

                • The word robbery can get thrown around too much in boxing. This fight however, falls into the robbery bracket.
It's clear why this result is getting panned in the boxing world.

Outside the KD rounds it's hard to find many rounds for Wilder. Hell, even in those rounds Fury backed him up after being hurt.

Fury won some clear rounds, he also won rounds when he didn't do much, but did more than Wilder. Just like he did against Wlad. They count.

It was predictable however. For the most part these days, if there is a big fight you can predict what will happen if the fight goes the distance. Even if the fight tells a different story.
It happens often and at times it really does make you question why you bother watching.

It's a shame for Fury. He went over to Germany and America and outfought 2 top, dangerous guys. He should have that WBC belt around his waist and a very good looking resume.

To do that after being inactive and out of sorts for 3 years says a lot about him. He showed skill and heart.

He got stiffed. I'd like to see him forget about going back to America for a rematch and face Joshua instead. A massive fight at Wembley, which really should be for undisputed status of the division.
