Trying to nit pick and deflect. NONE recognise Fury. They all agree he's not lineal.

The question is, why haven't they fought each other? In these situations, it's always the A-side that is more reluctant than the B-side. For obvious reasons.
So the issue becomes, why can't the A-side's fans be honest that he has more incentive to stall the fight? Just like Canelo did with GGG.

Joshua's (or anyone else's) supposed ranking, will not help him beat Wilder, nor will it help him beat Fury..... both of whom would be live dogs
rankings will matter little in that fight, so they do not matter period
whilst there are questions..... supposed rankings based on (insert irrelevant factors here), simply do not matter
everyone had Golovkin ranked number 1, that did not help him
the wankings..... ooops, I mean..... rankings, are.....
#1 Joshua/Wilder/Fury (any order) because nobody knows who will win those fights
#2 whoever
when Klitschko was doing his thing, it was correct to rank him number 1 for this reason..... there was daylight between him and the #2 Povetkin..... and there was daylight between Povetkin and everyone else..... that is not the case with Joshua, Wilder, or Fury
those fights need to happen, until then..... rankings are irrelevant..... why the fcuk would someone be interested in current heavyweight rankings, when they don't even know who would win those fights? LMAO..... rankings serve no purpose whatsoever, and any such debate is simply arguing over semantics

Lineal doesn't mean shyt. It meant something when there was one belt in each division and one champion. Today, it means little to nothing. Here is a list of fighters who were lineal champions:
Shannon Briggs
Hasim Rahman
Jean Pascal
Jermain Taylor
Kelly Pavlik
Ricardo Mayorga
Carlos Baldomir
Yasutsune Euhara
Those are just a few examples of fighters who have been lineal champions. Hardly a list of ATGs or best of their respective divisions.

He has the belts stripped from Fury. But Fury has the lineage and Wilder is the longest reigning champion.
When wilder has won on Saturday and remains #2 in the world you can come back claiming this and that all you want but everyone knows who the current ruler of the heavyweight is and it’s not your American buddy I’m afraid. Sorry.
