Lol - theres literally video footage in my comment of this. Just watch his fights if you want more footage.

Promoter Lou DiBella, who works with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs), was less than impressed with how Anthony Joshua performed last Saturday night. Before a crowd of nearly 80,000 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs) went the distance for the first time in his career as he won a twelve round unanimous decision over Joseph Parker to unify the WBO, IBO, WBA, IBF world titles.

Matter of Fact, AJ and Oriz were BOTH fighting for Hearn, AJ kept asking for that fight, OOPS IT WAS ORTIZ......I WONDER WHY HEARN COULDNT MAKE THAT FIGHT EITHER???????
Because Ortiz decided to fight Wilder instead, failed a PED test and got KTFO?

          This is truly epic reaching!

What benifit did AJ get from a time-out at that point?

Had he been staggered or buzzed by a punch?

          Nope.

Was he looking tired and gassed out?

          Nope.

Was Parker on a roll and coming on strong?

          Nope.

Well in this case he doesn’t need to bring money does he, he’s not the one angling for the fight. Wilder is the champion, so will have a queue of contenders looking to fight him, if Ortiz wants to jump the queue, then he needs to have momentum or bring more money than other contenders. Fighting nobodies doesn’t help him with either.

Wilder was out on his feet, that's the closest he's got to losing. I'd love to see a rematch, it was one of the most entertaining heavyweight fights I've seen in a very long time. Ortiz is clearly more talented as a boxer, but Wilder had better stamina, heart and power to pull through.

Got to agree here, there was no obvious motive for messing with his tape. Seems innocent enough.

The gum guard in the Wlad fight on the other hand was pure gamesmanship of the highest order. He's lucky he didn't lose points for time wasting.

Wilder on the other hand isn't in a situation where he's generated loads and after a long tenure as champion needed a statement win and thus the Ortiz fight made sense for him. Gave his insecure fanbase something to cling to as well.
That is BS. He was koing fighters left and right and hearns wasn't about to put his cash cow in the line of fire. that is why Ortiz went to the other side and fight wilder. A least DW had the balls to face Ortiz.
