Malik was running the whole fight... but still a truly dangerous fighter would've cut down the ring giving Malik less space to avoid fighting and made him pay... Ortiz didn't have the fitness or stamina to do that so just laboured to the inevitable points win. That was the epitome of dull that fight.

If no body wants to fight him, there is nothing I can do about that. It's obviously for financial reasons. Nobody is gonna be scared of a 40yr old boxer with history of HBP. Let him build on his fan base and see the list of fighters that will be interested in fighting him.

For now, he is best as an undercard for a minimum fee.

He lost his payday with AJ when he jumped ship to join the WBC crew. No one can guarantee him another payday except AJ and whyte.

Boxing is not drafty. Nobody promises you anything. Fight your way to that position. It's simple. No sympathy match up in boxing.

Would Ortiz do better or worse in a rematch?

Go watch that fight (the highlights, don’t subject yourself to the torture of all 12 rounds)

Malik fought terrified. Every time Ortiz got close and let hands fly, Malik would drop. Ortiz was credited with 4 knockdowns I think? But the ref also gave Malik about 8 “slips”

Disgusting fight. But not Ortiz’ fault

That ships passed just make sure you take medication for your high blood pressure and make sure you wrap up this cold winter.
Wilder had flu before koing you. You need a chin if you want to fight wilder. Do you think ali, fireman, hilyfield, mercer, vitali would have succumbed as soon as they were hit? No! Your not of that breed.

Because Parker is feather fisted for a heavyweight, and Fury is a back foot fighter with a tendency to hop on a bike lol

                      Fair enough.
But Parker seemed on the verge of KOing Whyte in that last rd.
I guess there aren't many really good HWs now. Fury just a shell of 3 years ago.

Do hope AJ and DW do it next year, but I wouldn't bet on it happening.
