It wouldnt surprise me if Hearn exerts pressure on Wilder to take the re-match clause if he loses against Fury in order to set up a fight against AJ in late 2019. (Edit. Rumor is Wilder has re-match clause, not Fury)

Life Pro Tip - when a poster can't say a fighter's name without resorting to 6th grade level name calling, it's gonna be a shtpost.

But both have a rematch clause. Why pick on one only? Wilder!!!

By knockout. I think you are too ambitious in your thoughts. Let's wait for Dec 1. I hope you won't be hiding under a rock.

Oh look, Americans are creating another swivel eyed crazy story where Joshua is scared again. Haha.

Hearn didn't talk about Fury because he knows if Fury wins Wilder will want the rematch.

Hopefully one day the mods will decide to really clean this place up and spare us all the creepy weirdos.

Are you serious???....any man who beats wilder is not an option for Joshua. Joshua is already scared of wilder. So anyone that beats him is a no go area.

Nobody has ever confirmed that Fury has a rematch clause.

Yea but everyone there was hoping doe I'm assuming cuz they were going nuts every time Bellew missed a punch let alone landed a punch. And that hope is what gets you there on fight night more than seeing some foreign guy I bet. So the PPV buys, whatever they may be, is all Bellew not Usyk. Or at best mostly Bellew driven. You'd have a better gauge then me with the UK public & their feelings about a fight, but I think Bellew's best PPV number will still be the first Haye fight when these numbers come in. We shall see doe.

And following the path of wanting Usyk to became a name they need to line up British opposition for him I know that much. Whyte needs to be on Usyk's to do list w/e happens with Del Boy &/or Joshua. I believe one of the main reasons Pacquiao got as popular as he got in the US is cuz he had some high level rivalry's with Mexican fighters. Usyk needs something like that. If they got Usyk fighting too many Povetkin's, Takam's or Joe Parker's he's not gonna have a chance in hell of becoming a name & a big draw in the UK.
They wouldn't need to make Usyk into a UK draw in his own right to sell him as a rival to AJ. They could do that just as well by having him fight Povetkin or Parker on AJ's undercard, then calling out AJ in the ring afterwards .. providing he won, of course.

But one problem with taking that route that might be the money. I'm pretty sure Usyk has been earning more in his last few fights than he would normally make as an undercard fighter on an AJ show.

I'm also pretty sure that one of the reasons why AJ/Povetkin didn't go to a purse bid was that Hearn and AJ must have paid him well for fighting Price, and that was probably part of the deal.

I could see them doing something similar with Usyk, with AJ giving him a bigger slice of the pie than usual for fighting on his undercard in order to make the fight between the two of them bigger when it eventually happened,.

And its probably smart to fight Usyk now vs when he's had some time to adapt as a HW. Its marination time with Usyk if Whyte is the April fight, but if not then Usyk is getting a callup quick.

But yea obviously Hearn wants nothing to do with Fury. Fury is a cat who can beat Joshua & make Joshua look like the B side during his the promotion. I'm sure Fury gots all sorts of new & unused insults for Joshua AND Hearn lol. And if he gets by Wilder then thats the Fury you definitely don't wanna fight. They'll have to bend sooner or later & fight Fury doe. There are a lot of UK boxing fanboys right now, but there are more reasonable UK boxing fans who just wanna see the best fight the best regardless of all the bs & for the two UK guys who are top two in the world is gonna be some sh^t they'll wanna see. Idk about April cuz I think Whyte is all but booked for that, but I suspect Fury vs Joshua would happen within 12-18 months depending on the mando bs.
Jesus the first press conference AJ would look like an amateur. AJ already has deplorable "mic skills" and has a habit of sticking his foot in his mouth every time he opens it...Fury would ruin him haha.
