This fight is happening because Golovkin clearly doesn't want to fight Charlo. Period.

This is a clear duck by Golovkin. I'm personally very disappointed in him. If he has lost his will and passion to fight then he should just retire already. He is looking to secure a fight with Canelo Alvarez by circumventing the WBC rules. Right is right and if I was Canelo I wouldn't give Gennady a rematch until he challenges Jermall Charlo first.

That's not what you were saying last week!

This fight makes very little to no business sense for Team Golovkin whatsoever. They are in the business of making money and not losing money.
You got it then. So what's changed since we had that conversation?

When GGG was the WBC champion the BScene low IQ hypocrite club were calling him a coward for not fighting Charlo ... "because Jemall is the WBC mando"

Now Canelo is the WBC champion ... and magically ... abracadabra ... Jermall isn't the WBC mando any more!

And GGG is still a coward for not fighting him!

Well done boys, you always find a way!

And neither does Canelo, who now has the WBC title that Charlo is mando for.

How is Loeffler going to talk **** about Charlo's opponent when he REFUSED to fight him?

You cant say oh hes so **** and look at him hes fighting GGG leftovers when you just refused an eliminator fight with him for the title belt. Yeah Loeffler, Charlo is fighting GGG's leftovers because GGG wont fight him.

You're on point! We can't ***** on GGG, and praise Canelo! One of them need to fight Charlo ASAP! Canelo has an "out" because he can fight unifications, instead of Charlo! GGG will probably look to get a title from Brant, Jacobs, or Andrade, instead of fighting Charlo to become Canelo's mandatory! It's not a "duck," but it's definitely a SWERVE! Hopefully Charlo fights Jacobs or Andrade! Maybe after he has a title, GGG or Canelo will give him (Charlo) a shot!

I still believe that it was a smart business move on Team Golovkin's behalf to move on and avoid the Charlo mandatory because he is almost 37 years old and have nothing left to prove at this point.

However at the same time one has to handle this situation with both grace, class and style. You don't have to gloat. The reason why I am having second thoughts about it, is because how smug and arrogant his manager Tom Loeffler has become?

This is not about Golovkin. He is a soldier and will fight anyone who is placed in front of him. This is about the people who is in his ear; His management team of Tom Loeffler, Abel Sanchez and K2 promotions who have persuaded him to duck Charlo.

Loeffler is taunting and boasting to Charlo who is Golovkin's mandatory challenger, about fighting Willie Monroe, Jr. Instead of GGG which is a very tacky thing to do.

It's almost like pouring salt into his wounds. You don't do that. He is basically thumbing his nose at both Jermall and the WBC which is a bit dodgy and cheeky at best.

They could have avoided Charlo without being an ass about it. For example Loeffler said:"I wish Charlo Well, With a guy GGG KO'd three years ago". That was a cheap parting shot aimed directly at Jermall Charlo and basically bragging to the WBC sanctioning body, that they are not going to up hold its rules.

There is no guarantee that will happen and why will Canelo do that? What has Golovkin done to deserve such favors? For basically destroying and discrediting Ginger's good name and reputation before the whole world, by calling him a liar and a drug cheat?

Before the GGG/Canelo rematch, the WBC president issued an order saying that the winner had to fight Charlo next.

After Canelo got the win, Sulaiman backtracked to appease Canelo and put the pressure on GGG by ordering him to fight Charlo instead.

GGG and Loeffler have every right to be pissed off with the WBC for pulling a trick like that.

Loeffler is Golovkin's promoter, not Charlo's. It's not his job to be worry and be sensitive about Jermall Charlo's image. Charlo's team should be looking after Charlo's interest and reputation, instead of sitting on their backsides doing nothing, as per usual.
