The WBC is in good standing with Canelo now, they'll do whatever Canelo and Golden Boy demand.

If they they want 3 more voluntary challenges before fighting their mandatory they'll do it. It wont be the first time the WBC hasn't honored it's mandatory obligation.

Like I said I think Jacobs is one of the main choices for next. I just think David is in the running to. I by no means think Jacobs is the only possible selection for April, but I think he could be for sure.

To be fair, there have been reports g won't be able to fight until June or July 2019 at the earliest. He had to undergo total reconstructive surgery on his face after his last fight. That isn't something to rush back from. No one would fight someone as good as Jermall in their first fight back after such an injury.
