Preliminary negotiations were made through the media as is almost all fights initially

Both fighters agreed to a date/venue. Next thing we know Whyte is running for the hills

Let's not forget that the WBC mandated Whyte vs Ortiz in April 2018 - https://www.boxingscene.com/luis-ort...-risky--128870

Whyte wanted no part and fought Parker... This is his routine

Very sad for a tard like yourself to defend this dumb schit

Next thing you know? Who was the first fighter to sign to fight someone else? He didn't attempt to negotiate and signed to fight another opponent FFS. Saying Ortiz wanted the fight at this point is ridiculous. He's not even claiming now that he wanted it.

Show me where Ortiz didn't agree to negotiate?

Hearn said he's open to Whyte vs Ortiz on Oct 7th - https://www.boxingscene.com/hearn-id...dec-22--132532

Next thing I know, after Ortiz gave a verbal confirmation to Whytes demands, Hearn all of a sudden says Chisora is the front runner 1 WEEK LATER - https://www.boxingscene.com/hearn-ch...-whyte--132751

If Hearn said in order for Ortiz to fight Whyte and for Whyte to "honor" his WBC mandatory fight to Ortiz, Hearn must put on the event in the UK, you tell me how Team Ortiz is supposed to send the so called A-side a contract in less than a week when Team Whyte already turned and walked from the table?

        Explain that, ******

Now sit your $2 ass down before I make change

Who said anything about sending a contract? They didn't even contact Whytes side to try and negotiate. Instead they were negotiating with Kauffman. Has he said anything about Whyte for months since they both agreed? No. Ortiz clearly wasn't interested in fighting. They both chose different opponents, did the exact same ****. You Wilder fans are pathetic because WILDER CLEARLY DUCKED WHYTE. That's all this is. Pathetic.

It's not a question of Whyte ducking. Whyte is a fighter. If Hearn offered Whyte $1 more to fight Ortiz instead of Chisora, he'd take it.

It's a question of Hearn being a smart promoter and not wanting Whyte to fight Ortiz. Why would you risk Whyte against a dangerous puncher you don't control when you can make an in house fight that will do just fine?

Ortiz team didn't even contact Whyte's to negotiate. Hasn't mentioned Whyte since they both agreed and signed to fight someone else. That's not a guy that has any great interest in fighting.

Hearn claimed there was no public interest in the fight.
