Why are people missing the quote where his manager says he wants that sellout crowd at Barclays? (While also emphasizing the influence of Haymon.)

It seems he's going to fight Charlo early next year (March?). Why? Because he wants to have one massive fight at home in BK. I bet his purse will be $3M for that fight too.

I think that's his number 1 priority. You can tell by what his manager just said. He wants a coronation at home.

Canelo/DAZN will be there after if he wins. He seems pretty confident that he can too.

I dont think Canelo will fight Danny anytime soon.

I mean anything is possible once you start spreading that love around. However, if you are just going to line certain fighters pockets without lining the others then the rest would have no other choice or alternative but to bounce. I can see an ideal one and done deal with Canelo but other than that it's too far fetched to be locked into some long term deal with Hearn when you are being advised by Al Haymon who have cards and dates of his own to fulfill.

As much as Hearn want to give a contrary impression, he does not really call the shots for DAZN. He is not even on DAZN's organization chart, much less on the parent company, PERFORM's, Chart. Hearn had zero say in the contract DAZN fashioned with Canelo and Golden Boy. Hearn has negotiated a bunch of dates to be streamed by DAZN, so it is up to him to find boxers to fight on those dates. That is about it. It is the same kind of deal that GB negotiated with DAZN. Don't know for certain, but I believe Golden Boy negotiated more flexibility in their contract than Hearn did.

So the Canelo fight is not happening because Jacobs is going to overprice himself. Charlo fight is not happening because clearly Charlo does not want the fight. So nothing to get excited about.

Jacobs also has a strong voice in his career and won't just go with what Haymon or anyone wants. He HIMSELF wants the Canelo fight more than any other fight so it is a safe bet he ends up on DAZN, especially with Hearn as his promoter. Little to no chance he ends up on FOX or SHO imo.

Jacobs could just as easily sign to fight Canelo with Golden Boy promoting the fight. That would give Danny the flexibility to decide on a more permanent arrangement with a promoter after the Canelo fight.

Let's hope Jacobs realizes he's the B side and he won't be dictating anything as far as a fight against Canelo goes...

WBC won't order Canelo to fight Charlo. Last time they ordered him to fight someone he moved to 154, his natural weight. Now he's fighting at 168, go figure. All that is irrelevant, I dont see Canelo facing Charlo period, or Andrade for that matter. May 5th will be Zurdo, again hope I'm wrong, just makes monetary sense.

May 5th is Fielding, then who knows who Canelo fights in September. It could very well be Zurdo or Benavides in Mexico City perhaps.

Jacobs best bet would be to chase Nelo cuz if he goes for Jermall now he will lose his strap.

He can lose his strap with Nelo too. There's too many deep pockets involved with canelo unless he knocks him out, I doubt he wins on the cards.
