May 5th is Fielding, then who knows who Canelo fights in September. It could very well be Zurdo or Benavides in Mexico City perhaps.

Jacobs could do what the rest of these cherrypickers are doing & face nobodies while waiting for a lottery payday but he has instead been steadily building up a far better resume than ggg all things considered.

And now that he just tamed a young lion at MW in deryev. he is sounding more & more like an elite fighter who now wants to become a 1st ballot hofer instead of just another also ran. Jacobs deserves mad respect if he ends up facing Charlo next yr,imho he is demonstrating that he deserves to be a big draw if he continues forging his own path dare to be great rather than playing it safe like so many others,

Pbc guys don’t have exclusive deals but do fight on one network and charlo’s both was only fighting on showtime

What's your point? If there's no exclusive deal with any network, they can fight wherever it's the best for them. The fact that their next fight is on FOX just proves the nonexistence of exclusivity to networks.

yeah but they fight exclusive to the PBC banner which has deals on certain networks only. Crawford will never fight off ESPN either because of the same ****.

The fact that Jacobs is blatantly calling out Jermall yet again is why I have become a big big fan of his. He has just beaten & kd the undefeated #1 contender whom ggg ducked like a hypocrite püssie,& once again hes proving he ducks nobody,I would love for him to face Charlo next but I know Charlo is all talk when its anyone dangerous not named Canelo.

Jacobs has demonstrated that he is a true throwback fighter because hes willing to give that smoke to whomever wants it,yet Jermall has gone awfully quiet no?

Jacobs fought GGG while he was with Showtime. He went to Hearn and HBO and never got a big fight. Oscar doesn't require you to sign on to a network to fight Canelo, he isn't Hearn. Jacobs knows he would have to fight Canelo on DAZN but it doesn't mean he has to sign an exclusive deal with them. Canelo has fought Haymon fighters and they weren't asked to sign to the network.

DAZN doesn't sign with fighters. Canelo and AJ are the only exceptions.
Hearn was talking about fighting on DAZN, not signing with DAZN. He also said that other fighters can sign with HIM for just one fight shown on DAZN, not multiple fights(which he would prefer) if that's too much for them.
DAZN CEO already said that there will be no more direct signings between DAZN and promotors and that other promoters have to sign with Hearn or De La Hoya to fight on DAZN.

I suspect the move is a no brainer here doe. Mall is a good fight. GGG would be a good rematch. But for a 160lber the place to be is DAZN cuz Canelo is the holy grail of paydays and even if you don't get that fight you can potentially accumulate a title from Andrade. Mall & GGG don't even got a belt to fight for.

Hearn or DAZN just need to not eff it up & pay Jacobs right.

just read today he and Andrade are good friends and will not fight unless they get tons of money. that leaves everyone chasing a Canelo fight as usual.

If Arum agrees, he can. Arum already said that there can be switches of TR and PBC fighters between networks. It's about promoters do decide, not networks.
ESPN has exclusivity with TR, not TR fighters. Same is with Haymon and Fox/Sho and Hearn/De La Hoya with DAZN.
Canelo (and AJ as it seems) is the only exception.
