TR is always going to overspend on one or two guys to remain relevant and if you're lucky enough to be one of those guys, you should take the money. Because if you try to leave TR, you're going to get screwed on the cards in the last fight anyway and you'll be leaving on a loss. Better to stay if the money is good.

Crawford is in an even worse position. Bradley fought Pacquiao x3 and Marquez. Those were huge purses/events that actually warranted the Bradley investment. He went 2-2 and contributed to some moderately successful Top Rank PPVs. What is there for Bud to build up? Nothing, unless somehow Lomachenko is foolish enough to move up which is 0 chance. I don't know what Arum is playing here as there is no end game besides preventing the PBC 147 monopoly as you stated once.

This move doesn't surprise me. Al Haymon has a new platform now and just like Eddie Hearn; He is under an immense amount of pressure to produce enough cards for all those dates he has on Fox and Showtime. Therefore, he is not leasing out anymore of his talent to other promoters at this time to fight on other platforms.

Just as Eddie Hearn has said; Whoever wants to fight one of his fighters must do so on the DAZN. Well one can say the same thing for AL Haymon. If anybody wants to fight one of his fighters on the PBC, then they will have to do so on either Showtime or Fox.

It's the reason why Wilder and Joshua isn't happening.

I have criticise Bob Arum for years in regards to things like this, why is Haymon going through that same route?

I find it amazing that some people people on here are admonishing the in-house mismatching going on by using the excuse of " Arum aint a proper businessman, proper businessmen like showtime and haymon dont wana deal with arum"

whether you like bob or not.. the man is synonymous with boxing. and to suggest that major networks dont want to deal with Arum or are wondering who he is due to recent comments is quite frankly absurd.

And not a single American calling Spence a b1tch like they did with Brook or the way they do with Joshua.

              Fools, the lot of you.

Spence is a punk for fighting garbage and ducking Crawford, and Crawford is a punk for resigning with Arum and being happy fighting garbage like he has done his whole career. In fact, most American fighters are ducking at least someone. Cowards the lot of them.

Rest assured that Spence will fight Pacquiao before his PBC contract is up by hook or by crook. Al Haymon will make sure that, the opportunity for the torch to be passed is not missed, he won't make the same mistake as Arum did when pacquao asked for 20 million to fight Crawford, Arum would have gained more than that if Crawford had pacquiao's head by now, that was a tremendous mistake by bob to lose some money in order to gain more in the future, a calculated risk. Al will make sure this will never happen, he will pay whatever is needed for Spence to fight Pac and if he wins, he would gain tremendous negotiation advantage against anyone in the future and yes that includes against Crawford.

There is only one caveat, in order for the torch to be rightfully passed, the challenger must leave any doubt and win in a dominating fashion, a Jeff horn win is not gonna work, it should be the same manner as de la hoya beating Chavez sr. to a pulp or pacquiao beating de la hoya from pillar to post etc.. it should be in a similar manner or the mystique won't be there. Which Spence and Crawford is more than capable at this moment. The timing is right and perfect, pacquiao is ripe for the picking. Thank boxing God for pacquiao still giving these young guns one more chance to beat him before he fades into the sunset.

Ugas is a decent fighter but the fact that Thomas Dulorme dropped that fool makes me wonder how many rounds vs spencer would he last?

Bob Arum was right all along. Most of us fans knew it for a long time. Haymon is the cancer of the sport, hopefully boxing can get rid of him soon.

Bobfather gets *****ted on for overprotecting Crawford.
And now he's doing something about it.
Problem is the people on the other side of the street won't cooperate.
                      Anyone can see the frustration.
Sadly, the top guys fans want Crawford to fight are all in the PBC camp.
