Haymon should have made Ortiz vs Breazeale a long time ago but he won't for some reason. Breazeale will fight some bum on the Charlo's undercard instead. Shame. This undercard is weak.

Remember when people were saying that Russell vs Santa Cruz might be on this card? Don't these fools know that Gary only fights fights once a year? cmon.

Those "fools" also don't know how economics work in boxing. Hilarious they thought a fight where both guys would be making a combined 3-4+ million would be on the UC of a fight that isn't guaranteed to do 300k buys. It never made any fiscal sense and SHO would only end up losing money on this card if they put it on the UC. Like I said, I don't expect any A-sider on the UC to face a known name. Just won't work. Hurd we know is in a tune up and we just heard who Ortiz will likely be facing. Joyce/Washington isn't too bad though.

Um, you expect Breazeale to risk his WBC mandatory spot to fight Ortiz? Are you kidding me? Why would he do that? The man was willing to sit out over a year to get his title shot, he damn sure isn't facing someone he would be a big underdog against and lose his mandatory spot.
